Mahommes play and football IQ is polarizing, artistic, and poetry in motion, as like Jordan during his day.
Brady vs mahomes is kareem vs MJ. Brady isn't simply a "rings" guy. He has other stats and accolades that put him above a Russell category. don't be biased now.

Stylistically, Mahomes is more MJ than Brady is MJ. Brady is what Bird and/or Magic might have been without the health issues. And, actually, Peyton Manning and LeBron are more analogous.
People used to cheer just to hear the fact the patriots lost when they had brady remember they thought miami was ready for super bowl off a last trick play
This is exactly what I predicted. As soon as Brady retires and is further removed, people will start to turn on Brady/ tell their real opinion about him since he's not playing and can't prove them wrong
Football more difficult than basketball. If you have an off day in football, that’s it, season ends. Basketball you got 7 games. I don’t think it’s a fair comparison
It’s insane to me that this is even a debate. They actually played each other and both times Brady beat Mahomes. Then you can stack his SEVEN rings on top of that fact.
If they Three-Peat, it's over, he will be viewed as the GOAT, period. :P He's already broke so many records it's not even Fathomable how great he really is, and since he lost his best receiver, he's STILL won 2 Superbowls!
Brady will always have an argument because of head to head playoff wins but if Mahomes starts doing things even Brady never did, like 3 peat, the argument changes.
I want you to imagine that Lebron lost to MJ twice. Once in the ECF, and then in the Finals. And then I want you to convince me Lebron is better because he’s more talented.
Now imagine if they had weird overtime rules in that ECF game were MJ only had to hit a free throw and LeBron would never even touch the ball. Then imagine in that finals where Lebron's entire starting 4 was injured and Jordan's was healthy.
It's definitely not the same Mahomes is way closer to Jordan. Brady is Brady I can't put him in that type of category. Mahomes EYE test speaking is the closest thing to Michael Jordan we have ever seen in any sport. numerically and his ability on the field. As usual Colin is spot on 🫡

Lmao he won a super bowl in 2022. how was he not in his prime? He was never an athletic freak so it wouldn't even mater much. Mahomes was basically a kid and no where near his prime. Also mahomes is 3-1 against Brady in the regular season.
He will have to do 8 rings, with at least one on a separate team or at least with a new Coach. 7 won’t be enough since Tom got the tie breaker and he got there first.
As long as TB is the only QB with 7 rings he will have a better argument. We can't just give it to Patty because his game is flashier. I'll be the first to give Pat the nod the second he matches Tom in rings.
Less and less kids turning into adults will remember that and mode will be if he goes to say 6 or 7 SBs and wins 5. The LeBron vs MJ debate is a which era is harder and which career would you rather have debate

Yeah it’s just not a good idea comparing players from different sports together because in the NFL you are reliant on several more players than you are basketball. Even if qb is arguably the most important position. Even if a qb is inarguably the most talented and greatest player of all time it doesn’t matter because any other position can have a hiccup and cost their entire team the game. I mean look at Zay Flowers fumbling the football on the one yard line in the afc championship. That goes for Brady beating Mahomes. That doesn’t mean anything in terms of which player is better because it is a TEAM SPORT. It’s like people don’t remember football is a team sport
What does many have against foles the 2017 eagles squad that won the Super Bowl was loaded and Foles was just amazing in that run it really sucks we got rid of him
This is insanity. How does this guy still have a job. After a couple more rings then absolutely Mahomes can be right there with Brady but right now is way too early.
Plus the reason Brady isnt MJ is most ppl wouldnt even consider Lebron to beat MJ. They think Kobe is closer to MJ. Whereas the fact a lot of ppl rn are trying to argue Mahomes over Brady shows they dont view Brady as the Goat and never will. They just cant argue otherwise until Mahomes wins another ring or two
This is stupid because Joe Montana went four for four, threw 11 Touchdowns to 0 Interceptions. Absolute perfection. Yet Brady has eclipsed Montana in every way imaginable.
Whether Mahomes is as good as Brady was a football is a close race and can go either way. Patrick has a long way to go to reach the legacy of Brady but he also has a long time left in the league
He didn't have mystique Lol teams feared him! Their leads were never safe. If you dig into the advanced stats for football Brady has the best seasons ever, the best 5 year stretch ever if you even just look at QBs peaks. Whether you look at DYAR, DVOA, PFF grade he has the best grade ever. He has the highest QBR season ever in 2007. And he did all of this after he won his first 3 Superbowls. He didn't get the weapons to put up the bigs stats until his 7th season starting. We see how important the line and weapons are for a QB to put up big stats like Mahomes did his first few seasons but look at his season this year. He lost some weapons over the years and this year he had a career low in passer rating. Brady had a handful of seasons where his coach/ GM took away his best WRs. 2006 Reche Caldwell was his only reliable WR. 2013 Ken tell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson. Even later Chris Hogan, Danny Amendola, Brandon Laffell. Gronk was great but he did only play 5 full seasons. Injuries to key weapons like Edelman or Gronk cost them a possible Superbowl in 2012 & 13 with those guys missing playoffs, 2017(Edelman missed entire season and would've been a difference in the Superbowl cause Brandin Cooks got knocked out of that game on the first drive). 2021 wr Chris Godwin having his best season with Brady and tears his knee late in the season, misses the playoffs along with Antonio Brown who quite mid game vs the Jets. If the Bucs have either one of those guys healthy in the playoffs they beat the Rams and beat the Bengals in that Superbowl. They almost beat the Rams without them. How do you let Cooper Kupp get wide open down the field like that!

Mahomes hasn’t been in the league long enough. Brady just holding onto the title until Mahomes retires.
Brady and Mahomes is not Jordan and Lebron….the actual real debate and comparison is Brady and Mahommes being compared to the Bill Russell and Michael Jordan debate!!….Lebron is more like Magic in this conversation and nobody really talks about Magic like that who was part of the conversations going on in the distant past.
@@be4st856 it’s not about being biased, Russell did have the stats as well, you can go look it up for yourself for that time period
This take is just absurd 😂 Shoes and mystique. Things that define a goat apperantly lol
Holding 3 Superbowl losses against him? He's lost more Superbowls than most QBs have even been too. Only 15 QBs have been to at least 3 Superbowls and one of those was Jim Kelly's backup!
Yeah also lebron didn’t start off winning titles out the gate. He struggled with lack of support, had to improve his overall game and change destinations to get to the prize. Mahomes is like magic johnson with the talent of lebron/Mj. He had the talent out the gate and was a winner from day 1. Granted he had a better situation coming in but he rose and overachieved and has dominated in his first six yrs

It's really hard to make an applicable comparison in 2 very diferent sports
Brady and mahomes both had great defenses which saved them from losing super bowl
So did Montana and Terry Bradshaw so it’s official there is no GOAT
@@chasetullar2732 apples to oranges. No goat. It's a team sport

So Brady didn’t throw for 500 yards in a Super Bowl
This season is legit the first season mahomes has ever had a good defense. I feel like people are already forgetting how sad the cheifs defence has been every season previous to this one.
Mahomes is not at Brady’s level, more like Mannings , Big Ben🤷🏽♂️ and Bron definitely not at MJs level nor Kobe’s 🤙🏽✌🏽🏀🏈
Look at the stats
From starting to the age of 28
Pat literally dominates Tom in multiple categories
The longevity angle for LeBron is so moronic when you're comparing him to a player that accomplished more than LeBron in less time
Keep telling ppl that how can bron be greater clearly Jordan Greatness was at a higher peak the man literally accomplished everything in 12 full seasons that Bron couldn’t in 21 years

So was mahomes losing to Brady.

People seriously act like winning the SB doesn't require a full team and good to great coach.
😅
I disagree, too. Also, Patrick is closer to Brady than LeBron is to Jordan.
The difference is this; the NFL is the ultimate team sport, they market teams. The NBA and MLB market players
Some of Colin's takes are so bad. This is one.

Jordan is not 6 for 6😂😂 He’s played probably 15 seasons so he is 6 for 15!!!! Am I the crazy one or what because this argument makes no sense to me
In the Finals
@@dbcooper4917 so it’s better to not even make the finals than to get there and lose to a great team?
@@Geojr815 maybe once or twice but when ya lose more finals than you win that says something especially when u comparing the greats like Jordan nd James
@@dbcooper4917 I don’t agree with ignoring context so much. Lebron won his titles during the era of super teams. He had to beat some of the all time greatest teams ever assembled to win them. You really don’t think Lebron is winning at least 6 on those Bulls teams and in that era??
@@Geojr815 no
Maholmes and Brady debate is just like the Jordan and LeBron debate..... In 2014 lol
Stylistically, Mahomes is more MJ than Brady is MJ. Brady is what Bird and/or Magic might have been without the health issues. And, actually, Peyton Manning and LeBron are more analogous.
Why do people think losing in the finals is worse than not even making it 😂
LeBron lost to everyone.. everyone ate in the LeBron era
Colin, this has nothing to do with mystique and personality. It has to do with measuring greatness. The debate is very valid
People used to cheer just to hear the fact the patriots lost when they had brady remember they thought miami was ready for super bowl off a last trick play
It’s harder to win a Super Bowl than an NBA Championship.
The MJ LeBron debate is the equivalent a Barry Sanders versus emmitt Smith
I’ll never understand the argument: “he’s 6/6 never lost, perfection” did he only play 6 seasons?
Gotta get to at least 5 to have this conversation
Brady is the goat hands down
It’s insane to me that this is even a debate. They actually played each other and both times Brady beat Mahomes. Then you can stack his SEVEN rings on top of that fact.
Why is everyone crowning Mahomes before he even reached Brady?
If they Three-Peat, it's over, he will be viewed as the GOAT, period. :P He's already broke so many records it's not even Fathomable how great he really is, and since he lost his best receiver, he's STILL won 2 Superbowls!
It’s all about longevity for Mahomes to catch up to Brady
Brady will always have an argument because of head to head playoff wins but if Mahomes starts doing things even Brady never did, like 3 peat, the argument changes.
I want you to imagine that Lebron lost to MJ twice. Once in the ECF, and then in the Finals. And then I want you to convince me Lebron is better because he’s more talented.
Now imagine if they had weird overtime rules in that ECF game were MJ only had to hit a free throw and LeBron would never even touch the ball. Then imagine in that finals where Lebron's entire starting 4 was injured and Jordan's was healthy.
Are you gonna add context, like LeBron was missing his second or third best player? Or the fact his team had the worse defense of the two?
Let's see what the next 5-10 years look like with him and the Chiefs.
I regret clicking on this
More everything?
Hmm. I guess scoring titles and dpoy and all nba defense doesn’t matter at all….
Funny how hard you hit Tom for losing in the finals and just skip that part with leflop.
The Brady vs Montana debate is more comparable to Jordan vs Lebron
It's definitely not the same Mahomes is way closer to Jordan. Brady is Brady I can't put him in that type of category. Mahomes EYE test speaking is the closest thing to Michael Jordan we have ever seen in any sport. numerically and his ability on the field. As usual Colin is spot on 🫡
Still can’t believe Belichick lost to Foles and Eli Manning 😂
damn people want to compare 20 plus years to six years mahomes is the goat through the first six seasons brady has the goat career and we will see what happens in 15 years
Sure Brady’s team lost to Nick Foles but Brady put up historic passing numbers in that superbowl it certainly wasn’t his fault
Patrick never beat the Goat in the playoffs when he was out of his prime end of discussion.
Ya scared aren't ya?
Oh he's terrified.
Tom never beat Eli manning in the postseason and lost 2 superbowls to him. End of discussion Eli manning is the goat.
Brady has a losing record vs Eli, Peyton, Mark Sanchez and Nick Foles in the playoffs 😂
Stop comparing guys who haven’t put in the proper time to legends it’s disrespectful MAHOMES will never live up to Brady’s shoes
Bro he beat Mahomes case closed
Less and less kids turning into adults will remember that and mode will be if he goes to say 6 or 7 SBs and wins 5.
The LeBron vs MJ debate is a which era is harder and which career would you rather have debate
Yeah during a superbowl hangover with no oline the first one second one dee ford lined up offsides otherwise mahomes beat him.
@@wormhole-r3l lol who got the ring ?
@CryptoFeez the cheater as usual. That's Bradys only legacy and why in a few more years, he will barely be talked about. An actual GOAT doesn't need to use deception and cheats to win, he just wins.
@@wormhole-r3lok and? If David Tyree didn’t make an insane catch and if welker didn’t drop the ball Brady would’ve had 9 super bowls and this would never be a conversation in any point in time. Dumb to bring up hypotheticals. Mahomes lost both those games like Brady lost both of those.
What does many have against foles the 2017 eagles squad that won the Super Bowl was loaded and Foles was just amazing in that run it really sucks we got rid of him
My opinion is that mahomes is closer to Brady, than Lebron is closer to Jordan, just my opinion.
Both are team sports, championships are way down the list when talking about whobthe best player is, especially in football
This is insanity. How does this guy still have a job. After a couple more rings then absolutely Mahomes can be right there with Brady but right now is way too early.
Brady-Montana is closer to Lebron-MJ. Except Brady appeared in more championships AND won more, despite not being perfect.
They just cant argue otherwise until Mahomes wins another ring or two
This debate is more like Bill Russell vs MJ, IMO.
Brady is Bill Russell and Mahomes is MJ.
When it counted he couldn’t beat Brady don’t forget that
This guy hasn't even caught Montana yet. Chill.
Micheal was a leader & didn't jump around from team to team to get Rings & more money MJ was a Chicago Bull ......
This is stupid because Joe Montana went four for four, threw 11 Touchdowns to 0 Interceptions. Absolute perfection. Yet Brady has eclipsed Montana in every way imaginable.
Yea the only difference is those guys played each other and the 🐐 won the H2H
Whether Mahomes is as good as Brady was a football is a close race and can go either way. Patrick has a long way to go to reach the legacy of Brady but he also has a long time left in the league
The better comparison is Jack Nicklaus~Tom Brady to Tiger Woods ~ Patrick Mahomes
I think an over 40 Tom Brady beating prime Mahomes in the Super Bowl will always be a black mark.
Prime Mahomes?? He was 4 years into his career, Tom 20. Time had been doing it 5x longer than Mahomes.
What?? I’d put Kobe waaaay before La China. I’d put Shac before La China.
Why do people give lebron so much credit?
