What they are putting on the parking garage might be a trellis, which is a supportive structure used to let vines grow on. Parking garages sometimes have these on to cover the bland concrete facade.
Keep up the awesome commentary. Also, not sure how it works, but some kind person bought me a membership. Many thanks for your kind generosity, giving me more access to my favourite YT Channel. Many many thanks, Anton R from NZ.
The outer ring on the booster, may have split when a recovery attempt was made - many of the engine bells on the lower side, were mud filled, while the upper were clean. That indicates an off-angle impact with the ocean floor.
Lovely images, guys! I don't know if you are sometimes lucky but you are getting very good. Now other subject: can Starbase withstand a hurricane? Those buildings are they really typhoon proof? Good comments from you as always.
Dumb question of the week here, but has anybody from the NSF team actually tweeted to Musk or Shotwell about the future of Starhopper? Maybe just asking the question in your capacity as "fans of the vehicle" might elicit a response to give a more definitive answer? Plus, given the huge audience that NSF can command, perhaps also the volume of likes / retweets might also work in Starhopper's favour as well, as if SpaceX are possibly planning to S15 it then the popularity of the vehicle on social media might win it a reprieve?
Is the side of the parking garage that has the extra stuff going up pointed towards the launch site? Maybe extra precaution in case they have an explosion.
I watch on my TV so there's no option available for ambient without narration which I prefer. Maybe leave off the captions if you narrate? I think it's having both that hurts my brain.
Elon Musk could put Space Shuttle like doors on the SpaceX Starship and have cargo pods (24’ X 48’ to 68’) that are pushed out of the cargo bay using springs, and have anti-spin, course correction devices on the cargo pods and use a cargo pod pusher to push the cargo pod towards the moon / Mars, and use a cargo pod lander, to land the cargo pods on the moon / Mars. And have at least two doors on the bottom of the cargo pods, and connect the cargo pods together using inflatable tunnels, covered with cement by 3D printers, the cargo pods could also be covered with cement by 3D printers, the cargo pod could have built in facilities in them, like everything a moon / Mars lander would have in it, or everything a space capsule for 100 people would have in it. Or a refinery, factory, warehouse, farm, orchid, dairy, ranch, fish growing facility, grocery store, retail store, hardware store, park, amusement park, arcade, night club, city hall, police station, jail, recycling plant, repair shop, etc., etc.. Also he could use inflatable habitats / buildings, covered with cement by 3D printers, when larger facilities are needed / wanted.
Unless you're going for a "Mystery Science Theater" vibe, you really should be watching this video in advance and writing a script. Its like Das is watching for the first time with us and and is just spit balling. And all of this wouldn't even be an issue if you didnt make it the default and force the user to do work to go back to normal. Nakes me not want to watch these anymore.
These are meant to be fast and simple, and you can choose the pure audio track. The more detailed videos come a day or two later. NSF are giving us all possible variants. It is up to you what you want to watch.
The vast majority of people preferred the unscripted voice over when we tested it out. The entire purpose is looking at it with fresh eyes just like the viewers do. - Das
The welders, construction crew and engineers are the real heroes of SpaceX.
Enjoy you Das, keep them coming, please!
I second that and say yay.
Wonderful to see that b11 has come back
"They turned it into a dance club." They're mostly young people. Per Eric Berger's "Reentry", they tend to party hard after a long workweek.
Great footage from Jack and Mary. Thanks Das, NSF team and the racoons.
Thank you; delightful as expected. Some great shots/detail.
thank you mary and the team for bringing us these shots great to see all the progress being made

5:54 gotta admit, the Massey's site is looking pretty slick and professional now, as opposed to just the dirt and bits and pieces it used to be
Thank y'all for the update!!
It's fun to hear u❤
Morning das!! 🌄 😊
Morning MOM! 🤣 - Das
@NASASpaceflight...Thank you you as always Daz..really enjoy these ...the naration is very informative thanks team NSF😊
Keep up the awesome commentary.
Also, not sure how it works, but some kind person bought me a membership.

Awesome DAS! your the best! Thank you NSF!
Really enjoy listening to Das! Keep ‘em coming!
Beautiful drone shots.
Audio is just fine bro!
Thank you Das!
As always Das, great summary update. Thank for all you do and thanks to the whole NSF team biging us this update. Keep up the great work.
James Blackwood should check those raccoons ! Thank you NSF.
Fantastic to be able to skip the narration! Thanks for the option to enjoy the ambience.
8:00 - Cladding on the west side could be for the solar panels. Charge mega packs to run the supercharger stalls
Really appreciate your narration, Das. Thanks
Yayyyyyyyyyy love these
Thanks as always Das! Love the commentary!
I like your voice and you explain things to those of who have no idea about building things or rearing down.
love your work DAS
Space, the final frontier. These will be the voyages of the Starship, which is still delayed because of regulatory approvals.
I wish they could luanch the Starship early November!
Now that they have the two towers, I hope they drop no rings into flames during the upcoming catch attempt.
I actually watch these now we've got the commentary. It makes a staid thing entertaining.
7:02 the Megabay is on full alert! I've never seen it lit up like that!
My prediction is that hopper is going to be moved inside the office building.
It seems they removed the stabilization pins from the OLM. Which indicates they don't plant to remove the Booster from the pad any time soon.
It took less than a day to remove them. Will likely take the same to put them back. I wouldn't draw any long term conclusions from it. - Das

Hi DAS thanks great commentary. Wonderful Sunday. 😅❤😂
I enjoy the commentary

I hope Starhopper makes it the Smithsonian Air & Space some day!
Love Das’s commentary
ThX Das (practicing making stringers for sure 🤣)
Love narrated
Good morning
Loving the narrrated updates
Love these voiced thoughts
i wish i was called nerd again in the end lol
Hello, as in the short video before, the booster 11 landed on water lightly. Why was it broken to the parts?
Parking garage cladding is for safety purposes.
Cladding on the parking garage could be a projection screen. In any event, the afternoon sun is brutal in Texas. Blocking it is reason enough.
Liked the narration
Hope those raised landing rails don't fold over on landing.

0:30 oh dear, i hope i'm not witnessing the earth's curvature.
I think its a splendid idea to keep the party and consumption close to home ... now no one has to be the dreaded DD ... designated driver
Where do I find the "ambient" audio track?
Is the side of the parking garage that has the extra stuff going up pointed towards the launch site? Maybe extra precaution in case they have an explosion.
That's the side away from the pads - Das
Were they having a SpaceX rave? If so that's rad haha
I'm confident saying it wasn't a business meeting at least!

Metal studs
How many firsts are there?
i hope spaceX launches without the FAA approval
Could hou call that a partial landing success if you can recover it from the sea?
🎉🎉🎉
Raccoons love crustaceans too
at 7:00, why is the American flag is flying upside down?
2:23 I bet it's the same racoons lol
Loving the Raccoons 😍...
Free tickets to the Penthouse Dance Club??
Don’t say “Pride” Elon might hear ya.

I like the impromptu voiceover and it seems like most other people do as well. 🤷

Prefer it unscripted to be honest, and enjoying how these are working now. Please keep it up, but rotate commentators if getting tired etc!
