Here's a fun fact about the Bambrella: It is the only brella that was negatively impacted by the framedata buff to shields opening 10 frames(iirc?) faster for opposing players to accomidate for network discrepencies. Due to how quickly the shield opens, along with it's abysmal HP, the shield can (and will) be destroyed before it is opened on the bambrella user's end. This has happened way too much to me ;w;
Also, I dont think they fixed the movement of the canopy like the other brellas, recently I watched a video using the main and the bug was visible in a match

Drizzle 2023 was probably my favorite in that category, I love me some Crableg. Mahi's rework was pretty nice too! And Shipshape's setting, it's one of the very few Splatoon 3 Stages that feels like you're actually fighting AT the location, y'know?
As a casual, fresh 2024 was very dry, with only 1 map, and the "rework" on undertow. And also, side order was before fresh season, so technically, its part of chill season 2023, one of my favorite seasons in all of splatoon 3. I remember seeing the trailer for fresh season, and in the end i said: "oh wait that was it?"

Curling is great on it as it gives it mobility since its a slow weapon (please god reduce the windup), but wave on it is really only good for an ink tank refill and rarely gives you info outside of the initial throw. Don't get me wrong, I love the damn weapon, 5* the first kit close to 5* the second one. But it suffers from its windup and lack of options when fighting midline/backline weapons cause of its kits
i think the main thing with wave is that it's not an abysmal special, but it's undertuned JUST enough that you need uber-good synergy to justify it (or a very good main weapon). painbrush likes wave's chip damage, but the more supportive aspects of the special like its location effect are underwhelming for it. it makes me wonder how curling/rain would feel with it.
Honestly I enjoyed Fresh 2024 more than most of the community did. Not really sure why, but ig after Chill 2023 got me back into the game, Flingza and Gloogas getting their second kits along with a new Brella and Marlin Airport were enough to keep me into the game. Did NOT know Marlin was so hated in comp though
I truly believe that pencil was bad at launch was because it just wasn’t the right meta for it. I’m someone who plays bad weapons pretty often, so I 4* pencil before the buffs, and even then I thought it got cooler _way_ too fast, and didn’t think the 60dmg was bad. I just think people started to get used to the weapon when it started getting attention, as not only did cooler get those buffs around that time as well, but the pencil buffs just made it excel as well.
4:39 Except for Bloblobber Deco. That was the only Kraken weapon to get Kraken Royale. Too bad they gave it Angle Shooter, especially when they should and could have done Burst Bomb.

I’m definitely biased toward the first sizzle season. It was my favorite season due to my favorite weapon being added and 5 starring it that same season. The challenges were really cool to have added and I enjoyed a lot of the weapon kits. Express is my favorite, I really like rapid pro deco and really like watching sorella tent. Sblast and painbrush were really fun to use
1:17 Its even worse in 3 cause the greater spawn rates and new bosses exaggerate the already poor layout and the stage also has horrid slowdown issues. If i played a Bay rotation and took a shot every time my OLED switch had slowdown itd be in the hospital.
On the topic of Recycled brella being weak, I've seen some people wanting Recycled brella to be buffed into being a midline weapon more recently. I'm not really sure about it myself having played Recycled, but it could potentially be a good idea for it.
You forgot that Chill Season 23 and Fresh Season 24 had reworks for Mincemeat and Undertow respectively… and I honestly don’t blame you since they’re pretty whatever. The best thing I can say about them is that they made Mincemeat Rainmaker pretty fun to play casually, and Mincemeat Clam Blitz is… playable, and the tunnels on the sides of Undertow open mid up just a little bit. Nothing groundbreaking unlike the reworks in other seasons though, but that’s another story for another time…
I think the only reworks I mention is in the last season, Mahi maybe should be mentioned though but undertow/mincemeat are so minimal that I don't really mind cutting them out for time.

Is screen really that bad to feel the effects of still? I know they toned down the visuals which I agree were annoying but the audio really doesn’t seem like that big of a deal now

Wave isn't that great on it just because the special in itself is weak, but curling is a must-have. I much prefer it over the missiles kit.

Both are half n half, sblast works well with slider while pain does with curling, but I think the other halves are very underwhelming personally.
