This episode reminds me of a friend as we neared the end of the Appalachian Trail. He was always filthy dirty, his old pants had ripped so he had to buy the only sized pants small enough to fit him at a local outfitter, which were still to big for him. He had no belt so he used string. He had lost one glove so he wore his remaining glove on one hand at a time. A mouse had chewed around his backpacks zipper so it wouldn’t shut so he was forced to use a bungee cord to keep his things in his backpack. His shoes were literally falling apart and held together by duct tape. Everything that could go wrong did. Lmao
