I swear ‘those’ little crickets are getting on my nerves….ive given up with the estate. Just want music. I fully appreciate that the estate needs to make money but why isn’t this available until after the celebration? Doesn’t make sense. I can’t see how this will make money for the estate as paying for the upkeep of the house, staff including Wendy & Lisa, surely security to guard the Prince articles/instruments etc. it all just feels off. 🤷🏼♂️
Very good points, especially about the upkeep costs. Also are people going to be put off booking as they don't know if they will be chosen. Do Wendy and Lisa make you a Hot Chocolate and jam with you until you feel tired 🤷♂️ Really not sure how this is all going to work.
Not sure what I make of this. Yes it’s cool and glad to see the house being renovated. I didn’t think it was real at first too. It just feels like a cash grab again! The kids bedroom was not in the house anyway, it was a studio set I believe. Also to refer to Prince as the Revolution front man is laughable. The Revolution were Princes backing band! Also how are Wendy and Lisa going to be hosts. From what I believe, they don’t even live in Minneapolis 🤷♀️ I also believe the costs involved will be out of the reach of most people. And also who decides who is worthy? It all seems a bit elitist. Another thing, a lot of people will want to do this so much that they will go into debt just to be able to do this … I can’t see Prince wanting his ‘family’ to financially struggle in his name. I realise that the estate needs revenue and it’s good that the house is going to look fabulous, but wouldn’t it be a better idea to include tours of the house as part of the ‘museum’? Then the experience is affordable for most. As I say, it comes across as very elitist.
