Every great team has bad stretches. 82 game seasons ensure that. Last year I believe we went 3-6 around early January and won the title lol we were missing JRue and KP, and Yabu outscored our bench. Martin hit season highs. We lost by 4 and had a stretch when we turned it on and the 76ers weren't even in our stratosphere during that run, again, missing 2 starters. I genuinely see no reason to worry outside of content or just being a hypersensitive and slightly spoiled fan lol
They're beginning to remind me of the 2022-23 team. They have a lot of bad losses (no, every game isn't the same). The defense is mostly an effort thing, but they have no one to defend really fast ball handlers at the point of attack, and are susceptible to getting bullied inside. The offense is very repetitive and launches too many bad shots. Their interior passing is bad- they're good at driving and kicking out, but god forbid they run an actual pick and roll with the starters. Watch them run a 2 on 1 break- one guy immediately runs to the 3 point line instead of going to the basket.

JT and JB have looked like 2022 versions of themselves the past couple weeks. And Hausers back is worse than we think. Shot doesn’t look the same. Every body needs to be more aggressive. I don’t mind most of the shooting. But I’ve seen a lot more contested 3’s lately. Would like to see better shot selection.

This season won't award a championship until next year. The Celtics are going to go into this tournament with a great record and championship experience. Joe will grill them. All teams have bad games and the Celtics have played a few awful ones; however, in all those games that they lost, they had a chance, at the end, to win those game....and those teams that did win, they probably played their best games of the year. Defensive wise, the Celtics will probably continue to have issues because Pritchard, Hauser and Kornet are good defenders but they are not athletic or mobile enough to compete against the elite players, which constantly attack them when they are on the floor.

they are not contrary to popular belief better than they were last season, a little concerned. Because most of the east is not hurt. I could see them getting upset in 1st or 2nd round, But I could also see them getting to the finals. we'll just have wait and see.
