Tracy is such a wonderful person and she's got an amazing story and she's sharing some great points here. Dr. Phil was pretty disrespectful to her at times in this interview. And good for him with his marriage, but his situation is pretty rare.
I really appreciate the different perspectives. Tracy is spot on in pointing out how Dr. Phil's opinion from the vantage point of the white picket fence club and having met his person early on leads to a very idealistic perspective. Not that his vantage is without merit. But definitely one size does not "Phil" all. :P Have to admit that as a single woman at 45, hearing her say that most of the relationship type men are off the market by 35 made me feel a little scared.......
She is a courageous women. Can't wait to hear what she want to say about her next marriage. Hope she will write or tell more of her past experiences on why all her marriages didn't work for long term. But then again in US who isn't divorced before? What's a more blunt question is .... would a child be psychologically shaped by what the parents do (occupation/ emotional stability being) or would a child still be successful in marriage/ relationships (in this case) in spite of all those toxic n emotional baggages.
Being a loner is problematic because she wont stop looking at the chandelier. Slow way down and don't try to change him. We will in time if your willing.
Tracy is so amazing! When Phil was disrespectful, dismissive, and closed minded, she responded with compassion, warmth, and understanding🙌🏽
Tracy you are so right we need more models… Dr. Phil is a 1%’er
Arrange marriages don’t work they just seem like they do. Because getting divorce is frown upon in those cultures.
