Family turns Celtic pub into Rangers bar for European final

- The Menzies family are getting ready to watch the UEFA Europa League final in style from the comfort of the pub they’ve built in their back garden. Well, half of them are, at least!
While mum Dawn and daughters Grace and Darcy are Rangers fans, dad Alex and son James support Celtic, so they had their celebrations at the weekend when Celtic won the league.
The pub was transformed into a green and white den for that occasion but now, Dawn and the girls are turning it blue in honour of the big game, with the whole family pitching in to decorate it in flags and scarves.

What did you win by rangers losing?. The same can be asked the other way round in Seville. Nothing. Scottish football again came second best. I don’t get people like you mate. They are nothing wrong with singing republic or loyalist songs for the 90 minutes. But some can’t leave it there. This has caused people to get hurt and lose their life’s. That is nothing we should be proud of in Scottish football.

Lolol WHAT? dumb statement... I can name a bunch. In London Spurs and Arsenal split thousands of families down the middle... same for Merseyside. There's definitely a lot more mixed families in Liverpool and London than Glasgow. Madrid. Rome. Milan...all cities with split families. I don't know of any research but relatively harmonious intra-family Old Firm rivalry is probably more common than is recognised. An example myself, with me Celtic and my son Rangers. I know of other cases.

I am the biggest blue nose you with come across. But I refuse to sign up to the religion/football/ west cost crap. When Celtic was in the final. I wanted to see a Scottish team do well. But the rangers final last week. I had mates show pure bitterness and they did not want rangers to do well. I am a 90 minute bigot. I sing the songs. Well most. But after I leave. That is it. I don’t want to see fans ended up at Glasgow royal. With slashed faces. It’s football. The Same when fans sing sick songs about Tommy burns. Or Celtic sing songs about our ex dead players. I don’t want that crap around me. I have told people that is around to stop singing such songs. This family is a breath of fresh air.we are so lucky to have 2 of the biggest tea in the world I judge that on the fan base. Not the money. No English club can pull the numbers we can. But we that support the 2 Glasgow clubs. We need to leave the hate behind. 2022 and we fight with each other like it’s 1690 or 1916. Enough is enough. The best of Glasgow this is what it produces.
