  • In this interview, Marine Corps veteran Thomas Friddle served as a scout sniper with the 5th Marines during the Vietnam War. After his return from Vietnam, he went to Washington, DC to assist with crown control during the May Day Riots at the White House.

    Glad you made it home Thomas, hope you are well. I left Vietnam about the time you got there. I worked for the 198th Light Infantry Brigade 30 miles southwest of Danang.
