Tails are basically part of your spine that has very few muscles and fat (at least if we're talking about mammals like canids, felines and rodents), which means there's a lot of nerves that are pretty much exposed. So... for many animals the tail is often an erogenous zone, especially the base of the tail. Hence the rather cliche reactions when someone touches the tail in anime.
girls would do so much to the "fur" on their tails if they had one now-a-days: perm it, braid it, straighten it, dye it. if it was furless, they'd tattoo it, pierce it. SAdly the EN/International version shut down a long while ago, I think only the JP version is still ongoing. Granblue Fantasy is one of two games that shares a lot of characters from RoB, the other being Shadowverse. In the case of Shadowverse, a large majority of the card art is actually recycled from RoB. GBF shares a lot of the characters from RoB, just in different art style. All three games are from the same company (Cygames) hence why so much crossover/recycled material but RoB was the one that started it all. Also, Manaria Friends takes place in Mysteria Academy (very roughly follows the event) which is some school in the RoB universe/world, despite seemingly having no relation to the other two RoB animes (Genesis and Virgin Soul).

When you started to get self-conscious of your weight and appearance, but everyone started to call you "filled" and "chubby" and "round", it makes me feel a little uncomfortable. Even though when I knew they didn't said it maliciously, just typical Asian relatives comment in family gathering. It stinks a little.
