Looks like your doing some nice work on your 49 farmall C. I just brought a farmall C into the garage after finishing up a 90 pontiac bonneville new axles , cause the cv joint boots were bad . I would rather work on a tractor , as I don't have a car lift , and that laying on the ground under a car , type work is for a younger person Bought this s/n 14865 1948 farmall C off e- bay, a few year's ago. Paid $950 & $250 for delivery. a local hauled it, near the owner, It was about 130 miles away> Said it was sitting for 10 years in a shed. But some where water got in a bad manifold ( can on top doesn't do it)and it was very locked up. Didn't take me long, to give up and pull the head lot of beating with a oak block of wood. I'll try pulling pistons neat a see if I can get some cross hatch back with hone dingle berry or what ever they call the ball ones> I thought I was buying a decent C that had just been sitting . But it did come with a unique pto, 2 row cultivator and wheel weights but no fenders.
