To some novice gardners out there, You can also try lst by tying the top of the plant "90ish" degrees horizontal to the ground. and train the main shoot to grow sideways. This allows the side branches to get more light and grow at an even rate to the top shoot. Less strain on the plant and wont stall growth. Topping certainly works well. But personlly i prefer the low stress method. Wicked nice result tho thamks for the vid just revisiting my love for growing super hots this summer. First time in 10 years. Have missed it🥹
The shape of the fruit resembles another variety, such as Big Red Mama. Carolina Reaper has a slightly different fruit shape. There are fruits with a tail and often without a tail at the end of the fruit. You didn't have quite the same phenotype as is usually the case with Carolina Reaper.
I bought these chilli seeds from a company and they put the label as Carolina reaper. Maybe something went wrong with the breeding. However, the chillies are extremely hot.
I am flabbergasted at my Carolina Reaper chilli plant. I thought they would only grow to around 4 feet tall, mines just gone over 6 foot 4 inches tall and nearly 5 foot wide!! I had to take it out of the green house and put it under the car canopy as it was getting out of hand. Fed it on seaweed fertilizer every two weeks, and blood fish and bone on its last transplant.
I am doing right now. My first time. Only 10 out of 20 germinated so far. I have a couple of questions: How often do you water them after greens papers start to appear? And I noticed that when red peppers appear there aren't a lot of leaves left. Do you pinch of the leaves yourself or do the just fall of by themself? Thank you
🥰hi, you have some gorgeous plants! I would like some advice from you, my Carolina plants are 50 cm tall, they have many flowers but not yet fruit, they are full of leaves even in the lower part near the ground, can I remove those low leaves? Thank you!
You can remove lower leaves as if they have contact with soil they can be an avenue for disease and fungal infections, but any branch is a possible source of chilies so I leave them
Yes, I do. However, it depends on where you live. In UK I normally sow chilli seeds in winter and I put my seedlings on the windowsill to get the most of light and sunshine. But if it's very hot, you should protect very young seedlings from strong sunshine.
@@Ji-pa-ta-garden My seeds haven't sprouted yet.I live in the Philippines and I was told to first put your seeds that have been planted in a pot to place them not in the direct sun but in a partial shaded area.
hey brother i want to know from you can we save carolina reepers seeds after it got mature for next season growing....i searched in google that its a Hybrid variety....so i am thinking whether it will keep its true variety or it might change to F1 generation
None. I normally water the seeds before I cover them with a plastic bag. After germination the compost is still moist. It takes around 4-5 days to water them again. However, it depends on the compost or soil. If you feel it's dry, you should water them.
I am not sure about the figure of npk plus I use different brands. For Miracle-gro all purpose slow release fertilizer, it is 17-9-11. I sometimes use granule fertilizer 7-7-7 and it works fine. 14-14-14 would be great as well.
You forgot to mention the time factor, from seed to seedling and so on. Also you did not mention anything about temperatures, except for in the end. But nice video overall.

It's like naga viper idk I'm not expert. To chilli tho
These resemble a ghost/naga/death spiral type pepper. Reaper looks more like dragons breath or 7pot.
Parabéns meu amigo, até hoje nunca consegui que meu pezinho de pimenta Carolina reaper ficasse assim, fica com Deus amigo, abraço 🤗
Thank you so much!

That's very impressive! I think this chilli is vigorous. I hope you have lots of chillies this year.
Did you cover your pot with anything before the seeds sprouted?
Oi como faço pra conseguir as sementes da Carolina reiper

Is there a cure for leaves that split?

Where to buy seeds
How many days for the germination?
Around 7 to 10 days
why does my CAROLINA plant make a lot of flowers but they fall off?? I haven't seen a pepper yet the plant is more than 3 feet
Is it in the right conditions? Is it inside or outside? Need details to diagnose better
Lack of nutrients buddy
Flower loss could also be too high nitrogen content in the soil
What's TLC ?
Indeed...
Oh its @mhmtylmz61 Tender loving care
From where we can we get this Carolina Reaper seeds link please ???
If you live in UK, you can buy Carolina reaper and other chilli seeds from South Devon chilli farm.
southdevonchillifarm.co.uk
What do you feed them with
Liquid tomato food fertilizer, slow released fertilizer and seaweed extract

You must have iron man hands to be able to touch those bare hands
The capsicum is inside the paper so you can touch the skin
Plees seds.i.m from sri lanka
The red chillies are not purebred Carolia Reapers
The seeds was cross polanated with another chillie
final pot size?
10 to 12 inches
Hello,
What is tlc ??
Hi. TLC is tender, loving and care.
Ha ha ha and I was actually looking for tlc fertilizer online :)
Thank you, I'll make sure I'll give some tlc to my plants ☘️
10days or one monuth
10 days to germinate chilli seeds
No offense, but those look like trinidad or 7-pot scorpions…..not carolina reapers
No it's not Carolina Reaper. It's the Ghost pepper (Bhut Jhalokia) the second hottest pepper in the world.
Thanks! I bought seeds from chilli farm shop. They may put the wrong label.
