  • HOTTEST PEPPER IN THE WORLD| CAROLINA REAPER
Carolina Reaper is an easy to grow, low-maintenance plant. It is the hottest peppers in the world with a Scoville heat measurement of 2 million. It can be grown in containers, provided they receive enough sunlight and water.
    FUN FACTS:
The Carolina Reaper is so strong, you're supposed to wear gloves when you hold it.
The Carolina Reaper chilly is 400 times more spicy than the tasty Jalapeno peppers you can get on pizzas, which only rate a chilly 3,500 on the Scoville scale.
It's the same species as the famously fiery Scotch bonnet chilly which is often used in West Indian cooking.
It's not the seeds that make a chilly spicy, it's the white flesh nearest to the seeds that give it its kick
Only mammals feel the heat of a chilly, they don't affect birds at all!
GROWING TIME: SUMMER AND RAINY SEASON( JUNE-JULY-AUGUST MONTHS ARE IDEAL FOR SEED GERMINATION)

Thank you! I initially heard the seeds needed to be watered every 4-6 days but I see that my soil is super dry everyday from sun exposure. I was hesitant to water them more because of how much I ehard the mist method was best. I'll go ahead and add more water now.!

Wish I would have seen this amazing informative Video sooner. My 1st grow of these still have not harvested yet my climate is not ideal winter comes fast. I have fruits some turning Red now (smooth skin version of reaper) some still green. I can still set them outside for some sun at this point 74-76 F° for about 8-10 hrs then bring them inside. I'm not gonna get a huge bounty from my 2 plants but sufficient enough for my 1st grow. Now with this Video my next grow should be amazing thank you sir.

Just mix 50% native soil 30% cattle manure or leaf mold and 20% peat ....fill a 8 inch wide pot with this mix and keep 8-10 seeds over the soil surface ..cover them with quarter inch thick layer of soil mix and water with a gentle shower ..keep the pot in full sun as of now 🚿...they normally germinate within 9-12 days and during this period keep the soil mix little moist at all times

Please consider using a plastic lid or glass plate as a cover instead of all this kitchen wrap... Otherwise we'll have to find another planet at this rate. Love your videos, thank you so much for your tips.

Lol you are so right. I’ve been using Togo containers that have the lids. I work at a restaurant and I tell my coworkers to not throw away the empty dirty containers and give them to me for my seed starting and growing microgreens. Creates a perfect dome and used over and over. 🙏😂💙
