As a Jeor enjoyer, i appreciated to finally see him played in a battle report. Of course, i could not see the nw player cards and his full train of thoughts, so i can only give my limited opinion on the plays. First off, i think he was quite unlucky for his card draws, they didnt seem to come quite right every round. And because of the necessity of making the ST shoot, he could never used the letters to draw the necessary cards. He was also pretty unlucky on panic tests. Even without panic tokens, and considering the silenced men debuff, he failed much more than he should have statistically, which is really bad in a jeor list. I think there are a lot of indecisiveness coming from the NW player. There are moments when i begged my screen for him to charge something with the vets and he never did. He relied a bit too much on trying to deal damage with the ST and hoping you would go to his vets for free hits. He never really put pressure on your units in the end. He was too afraid of what the gcs would do and not loose the Stand Your Ground bonus. By the end, the ST and the game were already gone and done, so if he wanted vps, he could have just given the game by taking swords to kill the gcs, and then maybe he would've had the movement to attack another tray if he wanted. ST is sometimes a bit hard to work around. Its a pricey piece and he tried weakenening the GCS a bit with it, which could have worked to be fair. Maybe he shouldve tried to shoot the archers instead. With their low moral, he couldve done some real numbers on them early on, even with misses, and maybe have a chance at re-balancing the activations. His army is also overstacked with "start of friendly turn" effects that might have gone against him too when trying to make decisions. Instead of things falling into place, he constantly had to wonder which effect would be most beneficial each turn. That takes a toll in long games/over multiple games. All in all, thats only an opinion on things that could've been better for NW. I fully know that there is mental stress and exhaustion that comes up to factor in too, so decision making can be quite hard, but when you started singing i kinda knew you were completely in control of this game 😂 You did get a laugh out of me when you did the cheeky play of gaving him a vp to prevent the first player steal afterwards. Well done. I love theses kind of "think out of the box" moments. All in all, great battle report. Both players were a pleasure to watch. Please keep hem coming. I love watching your channel in my downtime.
Just started playing and I really enjoy these battle reports. Right now I only have the Night's Watch and the Free Folks' starter sets. Stark's on its way. While I'm still learning, a quick question about the Night Gathers tactics card. When it's written 'Target 1 friendly engaged Night's Watch unit', can you target that unit that was unengaged? Or do I understand the word engaged wrongly? I think that an engaged unit is in contact with an enemy unit?
Jeroen: So if the cards says engaged , you have to be engaged. So you are understanding it correctly! BTW I have just checked the Night Gathers card again and it seems that it has changed once more during this season so please keep an eye on that before your start to play. Hope this helps!

We are all still as active as we can be! We've had a strong showing of the group at each of the GT's this year! We had to stop with the battle reports due to work patters but did live stream weekly! We're taking November off from posting due to work commitments again but will be back from December with the battle reports once again! 🙌
