In stock market, price and momentum are the important factors. One cannot sit and keep on doing sip in stocks like HUL, Asian Paints, etc. HDFC group is losing its charm. Chandrasekaran is a key person because of whom all the Tata group stocks are faring well otherwise their movement was like public sector. It totally depends on the person who is running the company. I am very new in stock market investing. I got panic because of this stock market fall but this video explains me lot of things. Thank you Akshat sir I follow your strategy. 👍
Hi akshat first of all it was a really educational video and i really learn a lot from your videos. I just have a few questions i wanted to ask 1. Is it good enough to look only at revenue and profit growth in judging a company in banking industry (like HDFC) because here we do not have debt to just the tension in the company ? 2. How do you just the quality of management of a company you want to invest because you have been stressing this point in many videos? 3. Lastly how do you judge if the debt is high enough that we have to consider taking a loss? I am asking this because we may have companies whose debt has stated the same for some time but currently the price is falling.
1. Banking and financial services are complicated institutions to value. I would recommend to stay away from this sector unless you have a strong understanding of regulations, NPAs, Basel standards, & quality of management. Also, financial institutions do not treat debt like the way other companies do. Debt is like raw material for lending institutions. Akshat has made a logical fallacy in looking at decrease in borrowing as a healthy sign for IndiaBulls. I would look at loan book and quality of loan book. QUality of lending businesses is seldom borrowing but definitely lending and recovery. Yes Bank is a great case study. 2. Quality of management: Look at the history of the company and see if they have delivered on what they have stated. Is it owner managed company or is it owned by large institutional investors with no firm "owner led mindset". Do you see frequent resignations esp of senior management without any credible reason? Look at who the auditors are and the fees they have been charging over a peroid of time. Have a look at related party transactions mentioned in the Annual report. 90% of companies will fail quality of management test. Hence apply this filter first before number crunching. 3.Look at financial ratios like debt/equity, interest expense ratio, nature of debt (bank, bond, long term or short term). Even if debt level remains same, falling sales or falling margins may lead to inability to service debt leading to defaults. Jain irrigation is a good example of a company that grew using large amounts of debt and is now in process of restructuring.
Great vid Akshat! I’m new into my investment journey and I feel lucky to have found a mentor like you (unfortunately, not the best of time to enter the market, haha) who doesn’t speculate rather speaks about fundamentals and help us take wiser decisions while investing. Pl make video on CAGR and how CAGR yield profit and apply in stocks like Asian paints, berger paints, Adani total stocks etc.Pl also share your pick for 5 best stock for long term investment holding and why?
Hi Akshat, you spoke of India bulls Housing finance and recommended a buy based on the company reducing its borrowing. This logic worked, as per you in the case of JP Power. Borrowing for a NBFC and for a powercompany is different, isnt it? Borrowing for an NBFC is like raw material that is then converted into loans given out. SO reducing borrowing means reducing business. Would love to hear your logic and correct me if I am wrong.

Hey Akshat, we all totally get and agree with the idea that in long term market can only go up. But more important question is how can we hedge our portfolio through F&O in these volatile times. A basic session on that would be of tremendous help. Thanks.
HUL fundamentals are good but @2000 it is still trading at 50 p/e contrary like itc if there is no future growth it might slip to 1200rs. Do not invest in growth stocks at the moment.

P.S. - A humble request, could you please speak about IRCTC and it’s possible trajectory in the market by doing technical analysis on it? It’s the biggest RED in my portfolio 🤦🏻♂️

It's actually a good time to invest, just don't invest all the money you have, have a spread out buying pattern.
Akshat has a stock market course. I would recommend you to join it. It's very worthwhile!

The stock market have always and will always be a volatile market, that is why it is important to have proper research, analysis and strategy when investing
Great advice, i used to just watch youtube tutorials and videos, but still made losses when i traded on my own. luckily i came across and watched an interview on CNBC where the anchor kept mentioning "...Kathy Genelle Britton...". This prompted me to get in touch with her, her strategy and experience are what has made me so much profits these past months.
The best way to find that balance between saving and living is by investing. This way you get
to have your saving intact and then live comfortably off the revenue coming in from
your investments. Financial freedom is possible, you just need to know
what to do and when to do it. I am a living testimony.
The best strategy to use in trading stock is to trade with a professional who understands the market quite well, that way maximum profit is guaranteed. Because i have learnt along the way of my investment that research and analysis are important, note that experience is more needed than luck when it comes to the stock market.
I’m not good doing it alone but getting into the market has been my best decision so far in my road to financial independence as it turned out lucrative for me.
Quality stocks are at attractive levels like Balaji Amines, Dr Lal Path,APL apollo, Sumitomo chemical and Sbi Cards.
The best decision I ever made in my life was investing in financial market, trust me guys,

Recently I read an article by mint on Nithin kamath 's view that the market is overvalued. He was saying that it would be better to invest when the index 's PE is around 16 instead of the present 20-21. Can you please share your views on this?

Hi Akshat,
I am a regular viewer of your videos and they enriched me a lot in the journey of investment.
I can see one can make use of options to protect the portfolio from any systematic downturn effect viz. Russia-Ukraine war. You also mentioned about it in one of your video. It would be great if you can make a video on this topic.

@@xlolx2387 If we buy call option on Nifty or Nifty Bank depending on our portfolio composition, as we incur losses from our portfolio due to market fall, our call proces should go up and compensate losses.

Hi Akshat,
I really want/beg you to please help me understand the diff btwn reducing debt and restructuring the debt... as far as i know JP Power has not reduced it debt but the banks has restructured the debt so the company can survive and the bank will eventually be able to get back their money. As per my thinking this is not going to help the company/shareholders, my assumptions can be completely wrong, however if you could present your thought process will help me.... thanks for your valuable videos.... keep up thr good work 👍
