Those are my headphones and now they’re working again!
This guy is legit. Could not find anyone else who would do this for me. I guess it was too tedious a task for them but this guy took on the job and gave a reasonable price for his labor.

Had a client ask me about this. All three are charging. Biggest thing was damage to housing I was worried of. Seeing the inside and your technique to housing has given me a good idea how to start my repair. Thank you! You are the man!
I like your channel, and i'm not trying to be a brat, but the music is way too loud compared to your voice. Other than that, congrats on the repair. At first I thought it would be charging at a higher amperage and was worried the wire would be too thin, but it should be okay for that charging rate.

Very nice video on fixing the beats headphone. Your videos are always good and of high quality. Thank you for sharing. I bought one beats 349.00 USD and after one and a half year my 13 yrs could not use it no sound on one side and then it stopped charging. I opened it but the wiring were so tiny I put it aside and bought him a new one for 249.00 USD after having used it for two years he brought it back to me, Dad it is not charging, and no sound, I dropped it couple of times and it stopped working", so I want to fix the older one first after watching your video let me see how it goes. Although your video made it so simple but it is not, the way you fixed the charging connector is hell of a job, scratching the pads and rebuilding the connection with tiny wires, was awsome to watch. Great work. Keep up the good sharing.
You do amazing work! I would suggest to glue the metal casing of the connector to the PCB at the 2 back corners with UV epoxy to improve rigidity. Poorly designed USB charging port connector, should have 4 pins to secure it to the PCB.

As someone who bricked his set of Beats attempting similar work, I can tell you that this guy has brain surgeon level skills. The microscope makes it look less daunting but those wires and components are minute

is it possible to do this with pure eye sight or you have to use a micro-scope?

i would have used hot glue to secure the inner pins. these pins are bending alot while (un)plugging the charge cable.
I just watched the vid you are absolutely right those pins are not going to last long

Do you think you could repair a pair of Beats Studio 3’s? There’s some ribbon cable inside that was cut by my uncle who tried to replace the battery himself before looking up a video on how to do it and he just gave them to me Iv had experience taking apart gaming consoles and repairing them but this looks way too complicated for me

Mine just stopped working, i can connect and it shows that it has paired and i can actually control music through my headphones but no sound coming out and power button not turning on as well as battery bars, help me guys thanks in advance
my board is ok i dunno how because i tried to ipen my headset and what happened is i broke the speaker wire off the bord and when i tried to on the headset it wont power and left it after 6 months and fixed the wire and no longer power the battery is fine the noard is clean and i cant find annyone to fix it can you help me plss

My beats headset does not show any sign of functioning. There’s no power; the led doesn’t on when you try pressing the power button. It just stopped functioning. Nothing happened to it. A friend believes it’s sweat that might have affected the board but I can’t tell

Advise people that fast chargers may not be compatible with all devices. Ive seen people plug their Samsung charger that could drive a rusty truck starter motor under full load into their tiny 2000mah li-ion with only cell protection. Excess heat from all them angry pixies would've deformed the solder and cooked the plates. Can see how this would be a designed failure to protect the circuit seeing those diodes didnt give out, as some fast chargers have extra logic to detect variable charging rates.

If you ever get headphones that wont charge, has no power and also no LED lights......on corsair especially, try Force updating the Firmware of the headphones by pluging them in PC even if no light the Force firmware will pass, there might be an error just ignore it. This fixed my headphones after I tested everything with multimeter and even removed battery for 10 minutes......its a very stupid problem and annoying has hell to figure out. Hope this save you some time someday ;)

Why would you not use a new connector?
The connector is original and in perfect condition, why use another one?
@@NorthridgeFix I asked because it looked a bit worse for wear in the video. I'd have thought any connector that's been used enough to come off the board and costs pennies to replace should be replaced as it adds longevity to the repair and better value to the customer. This is only my opinion and I asked to hear yours not to say that your way is wrong. I hope you understand.
