People are moving where jobs are more plentiful, real estate is cheaper, taxes are less - isn’t that EXACTLY the description of the difference between red and blue states? People are deciding to move away from higher taxes, more mandates, bigger government. Red states are winning because they are more FREE, and people are choosing freedom.
If you really want FREEdom, you should move to a country with no rules and no taxes. Somalia is a great country. When are you going to understand that without taxes, you will have to pay for everything? And that is more than you, as an individual can ever afford. Because collectively, the power of money is much greater than on an individual basis. In Norway, taxes are high, but there is no poverty. In Mississippi taxes are low, but poverty is abundant. Southern states had warm weather and cheaper lifestyles even before the bug. That's not new. What is new is the politics and policies of blue states going so far left they are becoming unlivable hellholes. Young people tend to be liberal and are just starting out, so they've always tended to migrate to the big cities where there are more job opportunities. Once they want to buy a home and start a family, they typically leave the city.
Capitalism like in Finland. Address Climate change and get us into renewable technologies and energies. Democratic Socialism, Technocracy and Transhumanism are most of the solutions. Get money out of politics cuz it causes corruption. Raise wages cuz everything else is high. Lower military spending, spend on everything else.
The good news is that those states are turning blue, which means the quality of life will go up incomes will go up, and the crime rate will go down. Education will get better.
