      Thanks. All that's really left is the helmet and flack vest, and I'm really not looking forward to the vest. It's not too bad, it more finding the time to digitize my pattern. I really want this on ready to go before I start.

    The ejection suit harness is based off WWII bomber and fighter pilot parachute harnesses the pilots used to bail out with, ejecting from aircraft didn't come until years later with jet aircraft. They went away with the jet age with G-suits that serve the same purpose but without the loose harness straps that could get caught on something in the cockpit and prevent the pilot from safely ejecting.
    It looks like the costume designer wasn't aware of any of those safety hazards and simply copied what they saw in WWII movies and George simply okayed it because it looked cool because he wasn't aware of modern flightsuit design either.
