yes you can trust Amazon in India also. they are simply great. my personal experience-- I ordered 6 briefs. the delivery made was for 4. I immediately contacted and enquired about the same. I was astonished what they did. they simply trusted my integrity and explained they will not take return back and instead offered 2 choices- take back refund (with out returning) or they reorder the same and deliver the quantity i initially ordered (6). not the difference 2. I accepted the offer and i ended up by having a total of 10 by just paying for 6. this act made me strongly believe in Amazon. and when I narrated this to my friends they did not believed it. And to their surprise I gifted them with the extra 4 pieces and now they all trust Amazon dealings.

You are doing the work of the cashier. You are placing items carefully, and verifying it. Sometimes it makes mistakes, and you have to do it again. With the current technology, it doesn't look like it will be fun. I prefer that the cashier scans and weighs each item, not me, the customer.
