To anyone: My almost 14 year old Huskamute has had his bouts with Zinc deficiencies and that's definitely not what Phil is experiencing. Zinc deficiencies manifest in sores/redness around the nose/snout area. This is often misdiagnosed as canine lupis in Huskies and Malamutes. If your snowdog has this, contact a vet that knows about these dogs. Out of desperation, I called a vet in Alaska who put my old man on the right path. I know this is just a random YT comment and not meant as a solution, but I urge anyone with this issue to seek advice from an area where these dogs are common before taking a diagnosis from a general veterinarian.
Philip still losing hair and he's getting grumpy in his old age he is such a cutie I just want to give him hugs he can come play High Five with me anytime you want he is such a cutie
Please, please don't worry about Mia. You guys are doing a brilliant job with her and I'm in constant awe of what great parents you both are. I admit I'm biased, my daughter was born into a pack of four dogs. I adore your whole family, both fur and non-fur. Donna in Canberra Australia.
The only constant in life is change, and you are dealing with that beautifully! Happy shorts weather! (Phil’s sweet spirit outshines his coat. Such a love~ thank you for sharing him!)
Hi Emily ….I watch your videos everyday around 6am when I wake up! . I’ve never left a comment before but wanted to say how much I enjoy all the contents you post. I ADORE all the animals and think Mia is such a wee character! I don’t know how you and Shane do everything you do with 3 large dogs, a cat and a kiddy to look after AND work! Love your new furniture with the fire pit but sorry you had to sell your Camper van. It will end up being the right thing to do as something else will come along , you’ll see. Looking forward to seeing the dogs at Grandma’s next……love how excited they get when they see them. Wish you all the best with your house hunting…….not easy but again, it’ll all work out eventually. I’ve been in CapeTown since lockdown and hope to get back over to Edinburgh once things settle down a bit more . Just wanted to send you and your family lots of love ( I feel like I know all of you!). Jenn. X❤️
Don't over think sweet Mia and play. Kids are resilient and as she gets more used to being out things will eventually even out. Just keep doing what you are doing. Growing up is always interesting. 😗😗🥰
Trends are the same here in the US. Camper vans (we call them RVs) and camping trailers have skyrocketed in demand pushing prices up for the same reason. Home prices have surged 15% nationwide due to low interest rates, work at home and increased lumber prices.
Congrats on selling the camper van at a good price; sorry that the home search isn't quite panning out. As a Yank, I suspect most parts of the UK are safer than over here, but I've heard news of unrest in Northern Ireland due to Brexit. Fingers crossed that the countryside of Northern Ireland is as safe and most countrysides are. Best wishes with Mia's "return" to society; being shy and sticking by your parents' side seem rather normal as a child. Heck, I still get shy as an adult. #PhilIsFabulousNoMatterWhat
Phillie bear, we love you so much! I just wish there was something to help, if not cure, your alopecia. You are my absolute favorite. Hugs and kisses from 🇺🇸
Thank you for all the updates. Good luck on the finding of your new home. The land in England is so beautiful! Here in the US, I watch Escape to the Country. It shows so many lovely homes in the countryside. 👍🏻💕🌻🙏🏻🙏🏻
So sad seeing Phil's hair loss. I can't believe how bad it has gotten and so quickly. I am sorry he is going through this. We love you Phil. Be safe, healthy, and Blessed family xxxxxx
What a lovely video, just you Milo & the pups. You weather looked so inviting we’re into 99 degrees Fahrenheit daytime high, 37.22 Celsius currently it’s 84 F, 28.88. Thank you for the update you’ve had a lot going on! Housing is going up in the States as well, CA has skyrocketed.
Thanks for all the updates. Love you guys. Hopefully everything will work out how it is ment to be. May I request a Philly Bear stuffed animal toy be made. He is so awesome. He really is the quiet calming star such a darling. The others are great as well but Philly Bear just melts my heart. Will pray his condition does not get worse. Blessings for all of you. Such good people. Amelia's house is adorable and the new furniture is lovely. I also really like that swing chair. Looks so comfortable. Stay well and everything will work out. 🙋♀️🤗🥰🐕🐶🐈🧸🐻
Maybe for Teddy: how about a favorite food frozen in big chunks of ice? He’ll get to gnaw, and get relief for sore gums. And your garden furnishings will get a break. ❤️
Thanks for the update.😊. Phil is a beautiful soul no matter fur loss...Wise move to sell camper van...Amelias will bloom in her own time with lock downs ended & hoping you find your best family home this year.😍
Lots of babies and toddlers go through a shy phase. I wouldn't be super worried about Mia's clinginess just yet. But Teddy is definitely having a rebellious adolescent phase.
That was such a lovely video...all the changes..Amelia will be absolutely fine...she is a modt precious baby girl...and so priviledged to have such wonderful parents and all her brothers and sister....we wish you bliss every day and we can't wait to see your new home later..WE LOVE YOU GUYS AND WE SEND YOU SO MUCH LOVE FROM SOUTH AFRICA ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

We love you. If you need to slow down, please do. Your videos posts are always wonderful, but we can always adjust if you slow down. Thanks so much for all the smiles!!!💕🐾😊
Don’t worry too much about Mia being socialized. ❤️❤️ I have 4 kids who have never been to daycare or school. They were all varying degrees of shy/social at Mua’s age...they’re now ages 8-14 and all very socially competent. They have friends and can communicate with folks of all ages. You’re doing all the right things by taking her places and making sure she is introduced to different environments and people of all backgrounds and ages. I hope nursery is a fun time for her! (I’m not speaking against nursery, just reassuring you that she’ll be great!! I know it’s harder with covid.) My family in Pennsylvania is having the same experience finding a home to buy. So frustrating! Prices skyrocket and anything reasonable gets snapped up immediately, sometimes even before I see it.
Covid is crazy, and no one is doing the “regular” things in the same way. Phil is a sweet boy, we will all love him regardless of his hair. Mia seems to be a sweet and loving girl, you’re doing the right thing by her, I promise. She knows she is safe and loved, and navigating parenthood is never easy. I hope people can enjoy your videos without being too intrusive. You’re under no obligation to us since sharing your life to strange people is a gift you give, not a right we should demand from you. I hope you all have good health and happiness always! Sending love from Texas. 💜💜💜
In the UK do you camper sites that have electrical outlets and communal showers/ toilets? At least here in USA we have plenty of state parks, national parks and privately owned camp sites that will list whether or not the camp site has electricity or if it is a primitive site without electricity. Not sure what options you have in UK.
Can't Milo loan some of his hair to Phil? This is the first video where I truly realized how big a cat he is. My sister used to have an enormous cat named Fluffy Godzilla, appropriately, who was a great hunter. Milo looks like her big brother. Big cat for big dogs.
Thanks for sharing the news, think you're very sensible about holding off on the move. I'm with you totally on too snobby to camp. Did loads of it as a kid and been left traumatised 😜. Love the garden furniture, any chance you can add a link to it please? Finally, think Phil needs a Tux and a white silk scarf... Bless him. I'll donate Sammy fur if you like.
I'm so hopeful and excited that you're looking for places in Ireland. Not only is it stunning country but now you'll have more choices. Better ones too, I think bc, yes, as you say, more land. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. You deserve the perfect new home. 🤞🏽 🤞🏽
Apply raw onion juice with coconut oil into the spots from where he is losing hair...you can leave it for a day and next day wash it..it's very helpful. ..if he doesn't like wash..doesn't matter just keep it as it is...it's very helpful to grow hair..the process is slow but effective...
Dear Denice Sanders, I lost my consentido (heart's Companion) last August/September and I still have a sharp aching pain. I cry all the time when I remember him or see sadness in others. I'm told that will get better but it's 10 months now and it has not lessened from the day I lost him. I really do feel your pain & I am so sorry for your loss. Seeing the Malamutes, the Snow Dogs, Bondi Vet do help, momentarily anyway.
Guuuuurrrrrl. That new garden furniture is SWANK!! very nice. I also don't blame you for not wanting to sleep in a tent. I'm a city girl myself. It's either a camper or cabin for me. 😆 Whether hair or no hair, Phil will still be sweet Philly bear.
You are both excellent parents. Don’t overthink and doubt how you parent.... she’s a very well adjusted baby/ toddler.... 👍😁 A suggestion for... what I did... ballet lessons, very cute lots of running around in tutus but the kids get to socialize. Later I put her in little kids karate ... same idea, lots of kids and more controlled physical activity.
I’m not stuffy at all, but have to agree with you about the comfort of a locked door-especially if you like to camp in remote places. It’s going to take time to get to “normal.” Please don’t worry about Mia, the critters, etc. It will work out in time. You have many friends (probably not as many as Phil, but who does?) and ultimately that’s what matters.
Phil is gorgeous with or without hair, he has such a lovely disposition. Teddy will grow out of his chewing stage and you know yourself that it is boredom mainly but if you are busy it can't be helped and with Mia don't worry, as she grows up she will meet more and more children and be perfectly fine, I find children that are shy and quieter make good, long lasting friends as I am sure you and Shane have long term friends from your younger years, she will be fine. I love the garden furniture, we have been looking for ages and need something hardwearing for our lovely long summers, NOT!! I have an idiot of a Husky who loves to lounge on anything and everything so garden furniture needs to be hardwearing for us and being able to leave it all intact and not have to strip it down and store the cushions is well worth the money you pay for the items. Gutted for you about the campervan but tents are defo the way to go, for 2 of us we have a massive Outwell inflatable tent, lots of room and they are very safe, we leave a crinkly carrier bag in front of our tent doors at night so if anyone was to sneak in it would alert us, we haven't had any issues and have found that camping people are good people. Niko is still the unruly one when it comes to other dogs, just like our Shadow, he is very selective who he plays with and has just 2 doggy friends, Niko is the family protector. Stay safe and kisses to the fluffs x
Love all your furry kids... country house is lovely with land attached & sea view... been following your channel since Mia was borne.. lots of love from Malaysia 🇲🇾 ❤ 💖
King Milo must show the world his fluffy tail every video. :) Sad to hear about Phil's hair. :( Poor sod. At least it's only his hair and nothing more serious (underlying).
I wish you lots of blessings for your new life with your family knowing you been apart from them during the lockdown but it’s nice to see that you are back in contact with your friends and families and hoping you are continuing to do well. I remember living temporary in the UK in 1975 since my dad served as an intern in a medical center. We used to live in Norwich. You’ve probably heard of it because you lived in the U. K. Where I went to Fairway school. I have one brother who’s three years younger than I am. Wishing you well including Phil who’s such a lovely boy and who’s receiving lots of love and is continuing to be in good health. I enjoyed your blog and since the lockdown, we’ve been adapting and managing so when we go back to the times when visiting friends and families are the first priority.
ps don't worry about Mia too much, she clearly is a very smart little lady ❤ also, there was a time not so long ago when little ones didn't have many social encounters before starting 'proper' school. in any case best of luck with whatever strategies you decide to take to help her blossom.
The house market in Australia is just as crazy atm. Spent my childhood holidays in a Jayco caravan with an annexe - can be fun. Extra space to relax in or for gran to sleep! My daughter is hanging to get back to Uni soon and I am looking forward to a weekend away to NSW in September (covid-19 willing).
Philly Bear is such a wonderful dog and we love him no matter what his alopecia brings. Mia needs to just be given the opportunity spend time with other children and with the COVID-19 we have all spent a lot of time in lockdown. Tent holiday’s are not a bad thing… The market here in the U.S. has not been moving as quickly but who knows that too may change. To keep Teddy from teething on things you might try some bitter apple and it won’t hurt him but he will get the idea to leave it alone. I hope things improve for all of us soon.
Thank you Emma for sharing so much. I have been watching these videos for almost 2 years now. I feel a part of your family. Sending lots of love 💜💚🧡💙💜 for all and continued Good and Healthy Vibes to all. 💞🌷💞
Regarding the house issue with land...Shane seems to be very skillful and handy so why not buy land and build a house with a special bathroom and grooming room for the dogs and cat or buy a prefab house that you could customize to accommodate all your needs. Just an idea. Here in the States prefab or modular homes are pretty popular.
Seeing Phil’s skin issue is still bothering him, I felt so sad for him… Hopefully the vet would find the best solution on Phil’s medical treatment! Fingers cross…🙁🙏🏻
Hi Em, why don’t you look into getting a trailer tent, we had a Conway one and it had extra zipable extensions on so you could make it as big or small as you needed depending how long you were staying in one place. It was one of the best camping things we ever bought , one time it slept 12 of us and still loads of space and my other half could practically put it up himself. Hope you are all keeping well from lynne in Scarborough uk. Xxxx
Poor Phil get well soon we are all behind you Milo what’s that thing I’ll soon sort that out I’ll was nervous with other children they were rough with there play I do love these videos you feel part of the family thank you Emma and Shane 🤍

Apply raw onion juice with coconut oil into the spots from where he is losing hair...you can leave it for a day and next day wash it..it's very helpful. ..if he doesn't like wash..doesn't matter just keep it as it is...it's very helpful to grow hair..the process is slow but effective...
WoW, prices here in NW Montana have done the same and maybe more.
Whether hair or no hair, Phil will still be sweet Philly bear.
Tricycle showing baby left and right turns
Water bucket making sure it’s waterproof
Little house making sure has no termites 😁
You are both excellent parents. Don’t overthink and doubt how you parent.... she’s a very well adjusted baby/ toddler.... 👍😁 A suggestion for... what I did... ballet lessons, very cute lots of running around in tutus but the kids get to socialize. Later I put her in little kids karate ... same idea, lots of kids and more controlled physical activity.
Teddy looks very wolf-like. He's so gorgeous His face literally reminds me of a wolf.
I’d love to knit a jumper for lovely Phil for the winter 😻😻😻💙💙💙💙🎶🙏🙏⭐️⭐️🌈🍀🍀 I love how attentive Phil is listening in to the house move update 🤩🌈💕
Philly Bear is a beautiful angel. I will love him no matter what!!
Sad to hear about Phil's hair.
Enniskillen!!!! My Great-grandfather grandma was born there!!!! 😊
I'm hearing about cushing now for my black husky. She tested for high atp levels. My girls are 11.
Your still a GREAT great Boi big Phil !!
Milomute just wants to be the center of attention in the video.
If you purchase a van, will you show us the remodeling process? I would enjoy that!
Here in the States prefab or modular homes are pretty popular.
warren buffett if you cannot control your emotions, you cannot control money. Hope you find the new home that's exactly what your looking for.
Seeing Phil’s skin issue is still bothering him, I felt so sad for him… Hopefully the vet would find the best solution on Phil’s medical treatment! Fingers cross…🙁🙏🏻
I don’t know that losing his hair is actually “bothering him” as much as it bothers humans.
Eres una buena cuidadora, Phill te mira con muy buenos ojitos, os deseo mucha felicidad a ambos, os la merecéis
Xxxx
I love your backyard furniture! Love it!
Phil is an 👼 patients of an angel he is so adorable hair or no hair...😘❤❤😘
