Happy New Year everyone :) Here's some content to enjoy if you staying in. Thanks as always for the support this year and here's to bigger and better content in 2025! 🥂
For unknown reasons, I haven't been receiving your feeds from the RUclips algorithm. I assumed you'd stopped. Its been awhile. You'd just finished the bus project and started a desert home. Seeing and hearing you today was cool. You've gone from being a footballer looking man to being a lean Superpro. I've got a lot of your stuff to catch up on. When I've finally retired I'll have many Montgomery inspired projects. Best of luck to you and your family in 2025.
Enough detail to make a simple piece of furniture look great. Really good video, easy to follow build & doable by the average DIYER & cost effective with use of the plywood. Thanks.
Happy 2025 Mike! i really like the diy tapering jig and the head board would look super sick with some leds in some of the slats! The Whole project is looking sick! great start to the new year!
3:29 damn that's a lot of brad nails for a glued slat. great final result! EDIT: Yo, your thumb got injured between coating/finishing and installing the bed? 15:38
I would have done vertical slats, and designed it to use the faces on the top piece and all the slats, that way the edge banding was unnecessary, but still a great build!
Nice design. But I think using half dove joinery would make the frame stronger and look nicer. Although I love the Japanese inspired slats on the headboard, I'm quite concerned about the headboard stability having only those 6 screws, so someone should avoid knocking their head on it by accident. But damn...mid century modern is such a timeless design. A home will never go wrong with it!
You've been working on this flip project for 2 years - clearly this is not to make money or rent out, cause your opportunity cost has been quite high. You just want to make content out of it so in a way that offsets the cost, but you can't call it a "flip" when it takes this long. Also that headboard looks quite uncomfortable with the slats against your back !
your knees must be cooked! all that space in a work shop and you still don't cut on a work table. I get your brand is making stuff in a way that anyone could do but common lol.

"Like you could buy it in a store. In a good way!" I do enjoy when a DIY piece has that look.
15:39 Big thumb up for this project, Mike, it looks really cool. Love the look of that finish on the oak plywood.
This is the modern builds I was missing!!

Great video with steps! Would like to request if there is a video on making a gas lift storage bed. That would be useful for small spaces
MAN, THIS IS AWESOME MIKE!!!
👍👍👍👍
Nicely done Mike! Happy New Year! 💥💥👍👍
I hope you make some floating nightstands with the same design as the headboard that would look really nice with some flush outlets and USB outlets
Happy New year 🎊 Mike
Happy New Year Mike.

That's really cool.
@16:04 you are sooooo lucky! My mom used to yell at me for jumping on the bed!
Happy New Year!!! The 🔔🎉🥂🌟
It looks good
Nice job 👍
Hope the thumb is alright!
This is a great build
Looks nice, but the bottom edge of the headboard aligned with bottom edge of the platform would have looked even better imo.
Cool and simple bed but the grove thing takes more time for detailing.
BTW i was thinking i was Only facing the rolling shutter band problem.

very excellent.👏

Heal up brother !
❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏 awesomeeee work. ❤❤❤❤❤
It's gorgeous. It's also going to be a beast to move.😂
That's nice,is it just the mattress?
Just wondering why did you not pick solid wood for making the 3/4 wide strips and avoid the tedious edge banding all together? Please let us know.
Did you forget your own line - “1-800-SUPER-PRO”
7:34 right angle clamp (invisible type)
Cool. 👍👍👍👍
Blooper pro!!!! What happened to your thumb?
Are there plans available??
Super-Pro!!!!! :)
So difficult following imperial system measuring 😅
I can’t find the plans to the bed
and after a month of sleeping and bed-sports, that bed will squeek and eveyone will know . put a tape or plastic everywhere wood grinds on wood.
Let’s go I was the 1k like 😂
❤❤❤
6:40 All plywood huh 🤔
Click bait

Hi...Greetings from Bossier City, Louisiana Shreveport Handyman is First...Whoops Noob beat me while typing.
What happened to your thumb?
Hope your thumb is ok
Reaching over a spinning blade at the 7:55 mark, yikes.
Unless there’s a space constraint, I see no reason to ever go with a queen size instead of a King.
wonderful but not that "mid-centurry modern" for me
That’s going to be a nightmare to dust every day with all those little spots
