Yes, but the Flight Controllers don't give us the full freedom. I wonder if there's a way for us to "unlock" them, but still have a switch to get back into auto leveling for training wheels for guys like me ;)
I think the tilt is due to the tail rotor anti-torques thrust line not being in the same plane as the rotor disc it 's countering. Some heli's have the T/R up higher and will have less of the noticable tilt when hovering and low speed. Oh boy I want that little heli. If only it had an actual ducted fenestron but okay.

Hey Brian. I have a future request when you revisit the F06 heli. Please try out your suggestion of pairing your heli F09 controller with your F06 heli to show us if the better F09 controller makes for a better F06 flying experience, especially on the throttle sensitivity? I prefer owning the F06 to the F09 heli due to price and although I like gps on my drones, I don't trust gps on a heli due to the blades. And if the better controller offers better flight results, then an additional $50 for the F09 controller would be a plus and would still be well below the price of the F09 kit. I hope you can provide F06 owners with an answer for this question. Thanks.
I'm pretty sure they're totally different transmission protocols. Sorry to report this, and IF I'm wrong, please do advise!!! Thanks for the GOOD question, but unfortunately, the "GPS" (I often times call them "Drone" heli's) heli's are using way more sophisticated flight controllers.
@@BrianPhillipsRC Thanks Brian FYR. I appreciate your time with my questions. Last night, I had a long chat with the folks in China that sell the F06 and F09 helis. According to China the 09's radio also doubles as an upgrade to the 06's radio and is marketed as such on AliExpress. The F09 radio, like the one you have used, is available as a replacement part on AliExpress for about $50. According to China's rep, the F09's radio easily pairs with the less expensive F06 heli and improves the 06's flight characteristics, so they claim. I've only found one very brief Chinese video on RUclips showing the F09's radio being used with the F06 heli. Other than it flew ok, there wasn't a comparative summary given in English. Brian, I believe you have flown both helis on your channel. Did you notice a better radio performance when flying the F09 heli with the F09 radio in comparison to the F06 heli with the F06 radio? Other than being two different radios, I think the only real difference between the F06 and F09 helis is the tiny GPS module that's plugged in on the 09. I bet they share the same flight control module. Have a great week.
I like them both, about the same for fun-ness, but I like the MD500 for the looks, and slightly better handling characteristics. bprc.me/RCEra_C189_MD500_Heli

Have you ever figured out why it won’t fly inverted? Because mine now started having the same problem. I was able to invert it as much as I wanted on one flight and then never again. Fresh battery, plenty of height every time but nothing happens.
Follow the link to the heli from the video description - bprc.me/YuXiangF06_EC135_Heli ...then click the TOP RIGHT OPTION - "RC Parts", then look for the heli, which is on the top right side... "YXZNRC F06 RC Helicopter Spare Parts" - from here, you'll just look at the parts, and you can see the battery is one of the choices. Yes, we'd normally make a link for you, but this site doesn't give us that choice. Good luck!
We have links for the heli's in the video description. We also have a website where you can find all the playlists for all the heli's we've ever reviewed ;) www.brianphillipsrc.com/heli Enjoy! P.S. You can click on the links to buy THERE too...but I suggest you watch the videos and see which one really trips your trigger, then check the links for price and specs that I may not have mentioned. We just want to give you an idea of what to expect, from a WIDE variety of choices.
Thanks for the tip! But we never got it to work - We did this, and I realize it's hard to tell from watching, since you're seeing the heli, not the keys I'm pressing...I was holding it FOR-EVER!!! ;)
Hummmmm...do I explain what happened to ours, or just say "please wait longer" - tough call... ;( Let's just say, it was EXPLOSIVE, and we did it WEEKS ago, but the video footage was pretty much held back since it was very short, and very expensive for the MFG. Soooooo, if you can read between the lines... --------------------------------------------------- it crashed itself in less than 10 seconds - total loss --------------------------------------------------- ....BUTT good news is I have parts now - yiiiiippppppeeeee (not) so I will have to rebuild it and see if the thing will live...but I was soooooo disappointed, and I wanted it SOOOOO bad!
I can't recall, but it's a pretty fair amount of time. One way you can tell, if you really need to know, is to see the time on the video when the heli takes off, and then take note of the time on the video when I land. This might be a good idea of times, but I can't say it's an EXACT science, since if you're flying in more wind, or doing different things, you'll have slightly different flight times. That being said, heli's do tend to be a bit more consistent than planes for flight times.
What platform are you watching on? Each device is a little different, but you always want to look for the "Video Description." All of the links are in that description. (Usually you have to click a little down arrows to expand the box so you can see it all.) You can also check out www.brianphillipsrc.com/heli to see all of the heli's we've reviewed.
It's a beautifull model but unfortunately you can't bind with any other trnasmitter and the one that came with the helicopter is joke. It's a game pad. Definitely this one won't be on my collection...
Yeah, this is a bummer, but if one were motivated, I bet you could get an OpenTx to operate this beauty....I just don't really care on a RTF heli, of this type. Now, if it were a full 3D Heli, then I would want to use my NX10, or similar.
you can try all the protocols that come with open TX and it will not bind. The Yu Xiang already told that no other radio is compatible.@@BrianPhillipsRC
Pretty cool but these new self flying helis man, I dont think flying one counts as being able to fly an rc heli😂.The challenge of cp helis and the progression of learning is what I love about rc helis. All this self landing return to home autoleveling stuff takes away what I enjoy about helis. To each their own though. Just seems boring. Thats my useless opinion. Lol
This is not a bad point, you bring up, and it does honestly play a part in my excitement about this particular heli. I want to be able to fly her without all the help, but there are so many rc'ers who won't admit it publicly, but can't fly heli's and will eat this up ;)

Are you actually going to have a real plane? Make sure it's regularly serviced I don't want to see you on the news. "Tragically a popular RUclipsr....."
I don't plan to do anything unsafe, which is a large part of my tediously slow start to PPG. As for timing, this might be a few years, or a decade, if I'm really honest about it, but truth is, it'll take me that long to get all the infrastructure in place to make it possible, then I'll be paying for it for some time too, which is the other large reason why it's such a tough balancing act. We need to work our tails off to make enough to get these projects done, but then having any time to enjoy them...that's somewhere on the agenda, but seems to be overshadowed by the challenges of earning enough. I know this is not an uncommon problem, but it is a real kick in the shins to have the PPG gear staring at me as I back out my work truck every day ;( Anyway, enough about my woes! Thanks for the concern, and agree with it too, btw. I grew up with a loving and wonderful mother, who passed away when I was about 10 years old, and I'm not going to put my kids through a similar situation, at least without making every reasonable effort to avoid some sort of untimely death, but on the flip side, I'm not going to wait till I'm old and dying to live my life. This is something I've watched many of my wonderful customers (in my day job) work literally until they break. I just discussed this with my customer last night...boss died 3 months after retirement, and he was a great guy!!! Worked his ass off for decades, and got a few weeks of "vacation" on the way to the grave - not that I believe this life here and now is all we're looking forward too, but don't want to get off on too crazy a tangent here. Balancing my desire to live a full life and KEEPING ALIVE has been a hallmark of my strange personality. My wife could articulate this better, since she watches it from the outside, but for me, this is just "normal".
You want it to sound like the M4??? ;) I didn't even really notice the sound...now I have to go back and see what you're talking about, other than ONE occasion when I remember the tail rotor making some strange sound, now that I think about it.

Brain I saw another video. if you want to fly helicopter upside down. Push the stick forward and it will fly upside down. Hope it works now. Happy flying. Ik 😃👍
Have you ever figured out why it won’t fly inverted? Because mine now started having the same problem. I was able to invert it as much as I wanted on one flight and then never again. Fresh battery, plenty of height every time but nothing happens.
Wonder if you button is not working on the Tx???
The Tx double beeps when I press it, so the button must be working.
I would think the Double Beep is like Denied. Not Activated. 🤔
I just got the RC ERA C189 MD500 BEAUTIFUL SCALE FLYING HELICOPTER 💯💯
We are looking forward to seeing it!
Will it fly out of stabilisation.
Where can we get extra batteries?
Follow the link to the heli from the video description - bprc.me/YuXiangF06_EC135_Heli ...then click the TOP RIGHT OPTION - "RC Parts", then look for the heli, which is on the top right side... "YXZNRC F06 RC Helicopter Spare Parts" - from here, you'll just look at the parts, and you can see the battery is one of the choices. Yes, we'd normally make a link for you, but this site doesn't give us that choice.
Good luck!
Hi Brian, thanks for the upload. Now subd 👍🇬🇧
How do I bind Yu Xiang x8 8ch 2.4ghz transmitter to the F06 EC135?
Were can i purchase a scale helicopter.
We have links for the heli's in the video description. We also have a website where you can find all the playlists for all the heli's we've ever reviewed ;)
www.brianphillipsrc.com/heli
Enjoy!
P.S. You can click on the links to buy THERE too...but I suggest you watch the videos and see which one really trips your trigger, then check the links for price and specs that I may not have mentioned. We just want to give you an idea of what to expect, from a WIDE variety of choices.
Wondering where you bought the unit that came with the 3 batteries
RC Going has multiple battery options...
bprc.me/YuXiangF06_EC135_Heli
Is there anyway to get more dual rates?.....even in manual mode I still have to jam the sticks all the way to get it to barely move, I need more rate😢
You need to be in manual mode in order to go inverted.
I have done it with other heli's, but this one, not sure why it wouldn't work.
Brian you have to be in manual and very very high press and hold the button and push forward I think good luck 😊
To make it inverted
And apparently the controls are backwards
Hope this helps
Thanks for the tip! But we never got it to work - We did this, and I realize it's hard to tell from watching, since you're seeing the heli, not the keys I'm pressing...I was holding it FOR-EVER!!! ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC ahh i see wel i hope u work it out has always love your true honest reviews
With some of these you have to be in high rates for it to flip
This one doesn't seem to allow it.
What its protocol? Have to use it on OPENTX or Edgetx....will be better. that gamepad style joystick...yucks...😅
How do I put this type of battery into storage.
Fly or otherwise use it, then when you're done flying, just store it.
Yeah I mean how can I get the voltage correct for storage. You can't plug it in to a charger to put into storage mode
Also would these need to be stored in a ammo tin and lipo bag. Sorry for questions a noobe
I wish they offered it with a traansmitter upgrade
Can you please review RC era c190 it’s so beautiful machine
I am in hospital waiting your vlog
No way! I too was there with a head injury two weeks ago, last night...get better soon!!!
yo...brian waiting for you to review the flywings UH1 V3 😊
Hummmmm...do I explain what happened to ours, or just say "please wait longer" - tough call... ;(
Let's just say, it was EXPLOSIVE, and we did it WEEKS ago, but the video footage was pretty much held back since it was very short, and very expensive for the MFG.
Soooooo, if you can read between the lines...
---------------------------------------------------
it crashed itself in less than 10 seconds - total loss
---------------------------------------------------
....BUTT good news is I have parts now - yiiiiippppppeeeee (not) so I will have to rebuild it and see if the thing will live...but I was soooooo disappointed, and I wanted it SOOOOO bad!
@@BrianPhillipsRC owsss… u mean i will hold it first? Is uh1 has a problem? Coz im planning to order one? 🥲
ist das ein Amewi Modell ?
I have a 330s rtf now i need something more scale i only fly scale 💯 that's it that's all
I wish I could get THIS body on the 330S - that would be amazing!!!
hi brian ,can you make a review of RC ERA C189 MD500 4CH Scale RC Helicopter Complete Flight.
Sure can! If you can send us some calm weather, that would be super helpful ;)
Thanks for the review of RC ERA C189 Md500. it a great review. Good job. By the way which do you prefer compare to YU XIANG EC135?

I just wish I could buy one
bprc.me/YuXiangF06_EC135_Heli
whats the flight time on this Helicopter Brian.
I want one
You NEED it ;) - bprc.me/YuXiangF06_EC135_Heli
I never see were you can actually buy anything
What platform are you watching on? Each device is a little different, but you always want to look for the "Video Description." All of the links are in that description. (Usually you have to click a little down arrows to expand the box so you can see it all.)
You can also check out www.brianphillipsrc.com/heli to see all of the heli's we've reviewed.
Will you do a review of the RC ERA C189 MD500 That helicopters a 1000 times better than the EC135 AND THE MD500 LOOKS WAY MORE SCALE YOUR GONNA ❤️💯 IT
It's on our short list! We are excited to see it!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Ok cool
Pretty cool but these new self flying helis man, I dont think flying one counts as being able to fly an rc heli😂.The challenge of cp helis and the progression of learning is what I love about rc helis. All this self landing return to home autoleveling stuff takes away what I enjoy about helis. To each their own though. Just seems boring. Thats my useless opinion. Lol
This is not a bad point, you bring up, and it does honestly play a part in my excitement about this particular heli. I want to be able to fly her without all the help, but there are so many rc'ers who won't admit it publicly, but can't fly heli's and will eat this up ;)
Wish they could inspect these things before shipping them it just PISSES ME THE F OFF HOW WE SPEND HARD EARNED $ ON DEFECTED DAMAGED PRODUCTS 💯
私は…何とかもうど1、に出来ました😂よ。
I JUST RECEIVED MINES FROM RC GOING & IM VERRY DISSAPOINTED THE BOX WAS DAMAGED AND THE HELICOPTER HAS CRACKS ALL OVER THE FUSELAGE 😡😡😡 IF SO I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN I SPENT ALL THAT MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT'S DAMAGED 😡😡
I know this is not an uncommon problem, but it is a real kick in the shins to have the PPG gear staring at me as I back out my work truck every day ;(
Anyway, enough about my woes!
Looks cool, sounds awful.
You want it to sound like the M4??? ;)
I didn't even really notice the sound...now I have to go back and see what you're talking about, other than ONE occasion when I remember the tail rotor making some strange sound, now that I think about it.
Not worth the money thanks for vid
I dont like the made in china part..
Where are yours made ? Please tell us
