It was a breath of fresh air to be pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed. Excited for what she does next

I’ve read them all and loved them. Neva has to date 10 books and can’t wait for more.

Mary babe, I really want you to read the Fausti Saga series by Bella di Corte. That woman has some God's gift in writing. Honestly I stopped reading mafia books after Cora Reilly, because nothing ever came close to her work, but honestly Bella actually shows what real men in the mafia are , and it's all Italian mafia familia...I will just say stay till the second book, and try because the story is building but then later you just cannot get out of that world...I still have not found any author who can bring out so much emotion in you, the love between that couple is so rare to find. It makes you feel lucky that you witnessed it.

This book sounds so interesting!! I can’t wait to read it. I’ve been in such a slump lately but I adore Cora’s books. Especially the old school ones you were saying 🔥 I can’t wait to read it!! I’ve been watching Outlander too so I’m so ready for an Irish mafia romance! ☘️

I can't read virginal teenage heroines anymore and I truly can't understand what grown man would look for someone that young for a wife...

This one is tricky for me because I personally didn’t enjoy the book and I won’t be continuing on with the series but I can see what people like about it. I am glad Cora is writing something new but I just wasn’t feeling it. I love watching your videos about Cora’s books. I do appreciate how different this was to her other series and it was written well, I wish I liked it because the cover is gorgeous. I’m glad the Facebook group closed but I have seen people commenting under her Instagram posts now and it’s the same people in her group who were arguing so I’m glad she’s ignoring them. I gave it 2 stars but that rating to me means I just didn’t vibe with it not that it’s a bad book.

I think Cora’s last books were kind of disappointing because:
1- She decided to write books about all capos, meaning that they had to not be that bad, or at least have their reasons to do certain bad things. Meaning, again, that she lost a big “villain” that the other characters had to oppose to. If she made one one them the bad guy his fans would have been mad for destroying their favourite character.
2-Because she couldn’t make them do bad things, she had to recycle the “bad things” they did before making them the lead character in one of her books, which means that her new books had to look to the past a lot.
3-The retelling of the same story in different points of view got annoying VERY quickly.
4-For the same reason she couldn’t make one of the kids of the new generation the new bad guy, because people have spent years reading their father’s stories and don’t want to think that they can raise them bad or something. For my part, I would have loved reading something like that.
5-All these restrictions made Cora not enjoy writing in this universe anymore, but at the same time didn’t want to let her readers down and ended up writing something she probably wasn’t enjoying anymore.
That’s how I think her books kept getting worse and worse, anyway.
PD: English is not my first language; if I explained something badly that’s why.

That's what I dislike about the new gen books. The og characters have a reason to be that brutal and cold, they are so well writing like Matteo though still cruel doens't harbour the same darkness as Luca, same with Savio and adamo. But their children are described as these brutal psychopaths but they have no reason to be that way, yes you'll harbour some darkness being brought up in the mafia but no where the same type of experience. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm not usually a fan of next gen books.

I loved your video! I completely agree with your feelings about this book, and I flew by the first half of the book but after the FMC did what she did it just really made me dislike the rest of the book. I found it hard to root for a character when I couldn't respect their decisions, especially since the MMC gave the FMC no reason to doubt her and that the FMC's sister had been historically bad throughout the book and showed that she didn't care for her son or her family. I also gave this book 3 stars because I did enjoy it but the ending really put a damper on the whole book for me.

I'm a huge fan of Cora, but I was so disappointed by the book, I tried to force myself and read it based on your opinion, but I juste can't. I stopped at chapter thirteen, and it's unfortunately a no for me, even tho I've been patiently waiting for it for months now.

Thank you for this, I feel the same about previous releases. One of my biggest pet peeves that I will DNF is heroines and if they are manipulative (use the hero) or fight the relationship for too long. Especially when feelings are reciprocated until toward the end.
I think I’ll pass on this, because I’ll likely DNF or not like it and not rate it well and I don’t want to do that 😭

I don't know when last I read a book but if I were to get back into it a Cora Reily book would be great. I honestly would not want to read anything more from the previous world so this is great. I'm also not a fan of Irish mob but I hope it's a good book

I really liked this book. I love the author but my one big critique point was consent in the story. There are scenes where consent is a bit too dubious and some scenes are what I would call martial rape. But the characters didn’t see it that way. That’s the one thing I disliked and the story was but flat the characters could have had more angst. Nonetheless I liked the story read it in one day and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Was a good and easy read. Somewhere between 3-4 stars

Something I loved about Cora’s books in the past was her respect for consent. It’s one of the biggest reasons I love bound by honor so much. And here it feels like L. I honestly forgot his name again didn’t get consent and felt entitled to sexual. acts when he shouldn’t be. Rated it 4 but this has been bothering me since I read it so gonna bump it down to 3

    Im so sorry
Like there's no story to it. No love between them
Seemed like the heroine sister was the main heroine and not our main character
    Everything revolved around heroines sister
Not the best work of cora ❤
