Ricky's first thing was "It's pretty simple actually" only for him to then say "Nah, I had to make that" 150 times. Absolute class build, I'd never think I'd be into to American hot rod style cars especially living in London but this has peaked my interest. He's got his own real life hot wheels and It's so cool to see
Gotta love cars that are built with the “whatever works I will use” method makes them so much more unique and adds more to the story of the history & build of the car - crazy how old the original parts are too!
One of my best friends has a similar build on a 1934 ford. We live in Detroit Michigan so about 15 miles from where the original assembly lines were. Nothing compares to the experience of riding in chopped ratrods like these. The sketchiness is next level.
The black pearl material on the dashboard gauges is sick! Judging by the Fender logo that's 100% guitar scratchplate cut up and used. So so so cool how hot rodding uses so much random stuff that you'd never even think of, coolest cars ever
This guy is so humble and yet every thing you ask he just keeps getting cooler Fab work is amazing. Love the original paintwork like it's been graffitied
I have followed you guys and Rick for years and to see you guys to show this on your channel is ridiculous answer finally see the car on the road is mental😅 20:0620:0620:0720:0720:0720:07
I've been following Rick for a number of years now and seeing the build finished is so so damn good. One of the coolest rods in the UK for sure, can't wait to see it in person at some of the hot rod events and try to spot all the little details! Bloody love the dials against the Fender guitar plate! Sick!!
Yeah that's cool AF, I'd much rather have a sniff round this and a ride than any of the modern stuff that's out there. Hot Dog Rick seems a cool lad too x
That is mental, love these car checks. What's the legality of it, as in how do you import it, clearly not MOT due to the age, but how do you get a number plate in US style like that? Boring stuff I know, but I find it interesting anyway.
SBC went up to 400 cu inch from the factory and BBC up to like 454. The appeal to the BBC is you can really push them(power adders), since they are sturdy But the LS is more so these days. LS have the weight savings of a SBC and study like a BBC and cheaper to mod dollar to HP than both. You could build a nice SBC for the cost of good BBC aftermarket set of heads but SBC blocks are limited to maybe 500-600hp. Still I'm a SBC guy, wish I got into LS but all the stuff I know n all the parts/tools I have are for SBC
The mullet, the shades and the car. It's every man's dream. that car is unbelievably cool creds to Ricky.
Weirdly enough his mullet match the car with the visor, slim straight side and huge rear end
Don’t forget the tache 👌
and the massive balls!
No lie its actually amazing to see a hotrod in the UK.
Theres a fair few in Teesside. They used to do meets in Middlesbrough.
We're lucky where we live, get to see loads at a monthly Outkasts and customs meet and then once a year down in Pendine sands the races on the beach 😎
Ricky is the coolest person on the planet
stu's e36 has now been topped by Ricky's Hot Rod as the coolest car featured on the channel
I usually love Andy's outfits but today he looked like he'd nicked everything out the lost and found at a youth centre in 2004
This is the most accurate description of this outfit I could ever imagine 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Would fit right in on the set of Tracey beaker
@@Jackoc1382 crying 😂
So cool to see a proper hot rod build in the uk

There’s no way I ever expected a hot rod to appear on the bqr channel. Insane

That think is absolutely mental! What a sick AF thing!
Is that dash panel from a Fender guitar?! Insane build props to Ricky, gotta be the coolest dude on the planet
I saw that too! Such a cool detail
You can get that guitar material easily, thats used on the dash. That car isn't loud, it sounds like a hot rod.
HotRod’s are definitely the biggest head turners in the UK, such a unique build!
Slick Rick!! Love that body and chop height is just right for what it is, very impressive build.
You can tell his old man is running a quality shop
Wow..blown away. What a build.
By far the coolest car on the channel to date.
this is another kind of wild, awesome to see people in the uk still making hot rods
What an amazing car / owner to feature! Loved this!! 🎉

The hot rod is a work of art🔥 that sound is insane!
The cars mint always had a soft spot for hotrods but who dosent? Very cool to hear all the little details like about the roof chop!
Such an interesting build, great content
this car is the reverse of over-compensating, big hot dog man’s car
Mate ricky is a heart throb that mullet flowing with his hot rod, hope my mrs don't find his IG! Hahaha absolutely mint motor, stuff of dreams!
Absolute animal of a car. The boys built a seriously sexy car 👌🏻 plus the shades and mullet top it all off 🤘🏻😎
The mullet, the shades, american traditional tattoos, & a dope ass hot rod Rick was probably 'MERICAN in his past life 🦅🦅🦅🦅
A hotrod is cool, but a hotrod in the UK is awesome. So unique
It done very well at Pendine too,all credit to you Ricky..........Jim 757 V4 / FC
Rick's a legend, mental car
If I saw that on the streets driving to work here in England I don’t even know what I’d say. Such a dope thing to build!
awesome build
Mullet, Pit Vipers and a Hot Rod... living the dream, what a boy ahahah
so so so sick, big ups ricky
That thing is sick and sounds the nuts
So sick loving the content at the minute 🤙
This is unbelievably cool, and Ricky knows it.
sounds incredible
Love to see a nice Rat Rod across the pond. Keep up the good work boys
I see this around the forest. It sounds amazing and looks even better
Yeah that's cool AF, I'd much rather have a sniff round this and a ride than any of the modern stuff that's out there. Hot Dog Rick seems a cool lad too x
Ricky on the web!!!!
That is mental, love these car checks.
What's the legality of it, as in how do you import it, clearly not MOT due to the age, but how do you get a number plate in US style like that? Boring stuff I know, but I find it interesting anyway.
Not sure what’s more mental the car or that flowing mullet!
That vehicle is just …… insane!!!!!!! 👌👌👌👌👌👌
Watching this makes me want a hot rod so bad but I could never pull the mullet off and that’s a necessity for this car.
Thats a really cool car!
absolutely savage, next video: "I bought a Hot Rod" haha
It kinda looks like a Frankensteined herbie, looks absolute wicked though, I love it!
looks insane keep up the sick content 👍
This makes me want to start building my car again, that’s mint.
never really been into hot rods but that thing is a work of art
That’s actually nuts, fair play Rick
It's like they took Brum to Los Santos Customs

What a badass - "Warriors, come out to play-yay."
That car looks insane. I'm not sure what's cooler, the car or the mullet! 😎😎
YOU WIN THE TEE! Drop us an email - support@boqer123.com
Loved this
It’s fair to say hot dog Rick has the best car out of the BQR group now 😂
The hot rod is insane but that mullet will put most of my mates in aus to shame
Bqr budget hotrod build would be sick

That car is amazing 😍
What an absolute motor
ricky is such a cool dude and that car is wild holy shit, insane work
That is bad boy
Ask Andy where he got his shades from ✌🏼
Seriously cool switch up in content
This is a funny watch as an American from Detroit.
Things an animal. Front end reminds me of the childhood tv show Brum.
Redneck levels of craziness … fuxkn love it!
Ricky’s had 1 sip of a Budweiser swapped his civic for a hot rod and grew a mullet 😂😂
good old American Rat rod!! sick!!!
What a build holy
Guess it’s going to Pendine? Dash is cool too with the fender guitar pick style. Is that something you can buy or did you make it for the gauges?
Ricky’s dad does build some wicked motors
Ricky is sick af and so is his car, why is he kinda like Andy’s cooler big brother lol
Awesome car. I think u should come up with a name for it. Also what would make cool would be some big off road tires on it.
That is one frickin class car!
