Hi Chad, Jolene, Doug, and Fina I hope everyone is doing well! Before I forget would it not be worth checking the price for a replacement fan clutch? I know that Chad is all about saving money where possible and there is certainly nothing wrong with that however, if the the fan clutch replacement was reasonable for a Jaguar it might save quite a bit of time over eliminating it. Now addressing the 2 seater statement, people can really be ridiculous when they are not even talking about there own project and I think you would find that alot of them do not even have their own project. Why would you spend days welding some sort of platform or something to fill the space back there when the back seat still fits in and it is perfect for Fina! Even the car companies choose to use a rear seat to fill the space. The back seat in Camaros is basically unuseable except for a baby or a pet and I am guessing the Mustang is the same way! Hats off to Doug too, he is doing a great job piecing everything together out of the piles. Jolene is the mastermind behind the scenes making things so successful with her & Chads skills. You guys are all awesome and do great work!

Very nice build. Not trying to pick holes but with so much custom work being done on that back window I swear that little coupe is just screaming for a breezway rear window from a 1963-1968 full-size Mercurys, including some Park Lanes, Montclairs, and Montereys or 1958-1960 Continental Mark III, IV, & V. Just my thoughts. It will still look good with a fixed window. another thought was a power window out of a station wagon but I don't think you have the room.

Like the larger rear window, rear view mirror now can reflect the road behind the car rather than the trunk lid. I trick i use to get the right length of belts is to cut an old electrical extension cord the length i need then i put i piece of shrink sleeve over the ends to join them together. Take it to my local NAPA shop and the the right belt every time.

You should be able to replace the clutch on the fan. If you make the fan solid you will probably be able to hear it Whirring at higher Rpms. Plus, it will wear water pumps out quicker and decrease fuel mileage. I've been there, done that, and have the T-Shirt for it. Figured i 'd let you know. Keep up the fantastic work Y'all.

The clutch in the fan only engages when the engine is hot. When cold it should spin freely.

Re the oil cooler delete issue, would it not just be easier to install a smaller oil cooler with neater stainless feed lines, than try and deal with blanking off the feed and return ports?
In my experience an oil cooler helps manage running temps, it's there for a reason, it doesn't really need to be in the frontal air flow, it just needs to be situated somewhere air moves and the heat from the engine oil can be disappated outside the engine.
    As a side note-
I'll bet that's the same engine that's in the Daimler DS420 limousine I drive, it's the jag xk4.2L straight 6?

The Bagatti is coming out really nice it's all those small details that count and to make it run. It's a good thing y'all are taking your time and doing it right. You don't want to take the whole car apart to fix it. Maybe a electric fan, not shire if y'all want to go that route. Yeah to build a really nice car it takes time. I know you started this car year's ago, but how many car's you built since then many many.

The body style is way cool.
If the body is in good shape and sound, then I think it deserves a decent chassis and running gear.
If it’s not going to be driven, then I guess it doesn’t really matter. I think it would make a fun daily driver. If it’s fairly comfortable to drive. Jolene is too young to remember what it was like to drive a 60s car. Well, it wasn’t all that much fun. They didn’t stop well, they didn’t handle well, they were unreliable, The leaded gas fumes were deadly, they were noisy, and, well, you get the idea. On the other hand, the factory hot rods were about the most legal fun you could have in the 60s.
