Hiding out in a yurt for a week and stitching sounds like the most glorious thing ever. As long as there was indoor plumbing, that is. I’m not much of a “roughing it” gal. 😂 Another great episode and just what I needed this evening 💜
Just an idea on your lacing/framing. Instead of cardboard, use comic book cardboard. It is similar to matte board and much thinner than cardboard. It holds up to the lacing technique and can be colored on with markers to match your fabric. 100 boards will run about $18 and can be used for so much. I use it for all my backing material. Ornaments, flat folds, stand ups, anything really. I very much enjoy your videos. My newest obsession. 🧡🧡
Yes!! Still mulling over my fabric choice. I think I want something with a little more depth than the called for, but I don’t want it to overtake the pattern.
Love your videos and seeing all of the amazing projects! European Cross Stitch Company sells floss and bead packs for Chatelaines! I’ve heard some of the called for crystals can be hard to come by. This is the company many recommend to get them 😊
Wonderful job ladies! By the way, for the Chatelaine, your best resource will be European Cross Stitch Company (ECC). It’s a US company run by a very nice lady named Cindy who worked personally with Martina on sourcing materials for her and putting together these kits for her customers. So, when many of these crystals or thread colors were discontinued, she has been able to provide accurate substitutes because she knows what the original materials were. ECC has 2 sales every year and their last sale for this year is going on right now. It’s 10% off and the sale will end Nov 15. So get the bead pack from her. 😉👉👉
Always, always, have such a good time with you ! thank you for an entertaining and informative video. For future use if needed, google "offset picture frame clips"... when your frame is "overstuffed", you can replace the clips on the back with clips with a little "step" to accommodate thicker stuff. best wishes xoxo
Yay… you started Inspired by Nature. Duxbury looks so good! I’m just about done with the green section on mine. Emaline looks stunning… can’t wait to see more ❤
I just got a kit from Les Brodeuses Parisiennes too! If you don't know the website french needle, I highly recommend it for all the beautiful fancy projects!
2 questions for Elizabeth...1. did you match your drink to your sweater on purpose? 2. Can you just drop the bottom band of seasons off the whole thing?
👋🏻 I would love to know who the fabric advent calendar panel is by please. Thank you. Love your Flosstube, the projects you stitch and your haul of course.
Great episode! "Shared hyperfocus!" This is gold and exactly what we've been finding stitching together 🥰 Technical question... Elizabeth, on your Christmas sampler, the individual snowflakes and to avoid seeing the traveling thread at the back, could you stitch them all and then go back through (on the back side) and cut the traveled thread to sew them in? Or is that too risky and your stitch may come loose?

Amazed at how fast you are moving through Hawk Run Hallow.
It’s terrifying. I don’t know how she’s so fast! I can never keep up with Caroline once she’s set her mind on something.
I LOVE it!
THIS ONE'S THE BEST ONE YET 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Aimee’s choices are always on point!
Crocodiles are both freshwater and saltwater in Australia. Saltys are the really big ones that Steve Irwin used to catch.
Good to know! Also terrible to know, since it means nowhere is safe. :p
P.S. Elizabeth! Come to Stitch Con with me!
Haha somebody got to take her, we’re scared
Next year! This year my daughter is graduating. 🥲

I am aaaaaall over it. :p
Almost out of fingers 😢😢😮😮😀👌😁😁😁

Hahah she would definitely match her drink to her outfit
1. No, but I will now!
2. Yeah but then I’d know Jacob WON.
@@Elizabeth-pj5if hahaha! Can't have that!
WOOOOO

Love you ladies ! What is the bobbin thing you all were talking about at the end with the spools? And something about something popping off
Caroline bought some fancy silks on bobbins, and none of us knew that the tops pop off to make them easier to use. So neat!
@ well I didn’t either. I will have to try that when I get home. Please demonstrate in your next video in case I can’t figure it out. 😜
Great episode!

Too risky is exactly correct! Plus the ends would still need to be woven in, and this way I have a nice long tail to do that with.
@Elizabeth-pj5if thanks for answering. That makes a lot of sense. The long tail would be helpful for something so tiny and precise!
❤❤❤
