- Right when I watched this masterpiece of a movie I just knew, that I had to make an AMV. I paused all my other big projects and started this right away! Started this project on the 27th and worked on this non-stop through the slow work days. Got the whole video finished and rendered on the 28th but had to re-render it due to a little mistake I made at the end lol, so it's being published today, the 29th. And I'm happy to say this is something I've never thought I would be able to achieve, creating an almost 4 minute AMV where I actually put my heart and soul into it and get it finished within 48 hours or so. I love the outcome of this, it's just so surreal seeing what I had thought up in my head come to life. That's the power of getting a surge of inspiration and having the determination and willpower to power through an edit I guess.
I'm not gonna lie, I had to stop in my tracks multiple times during this video because the emotions were just way too much, I even broke down a bit. I have read the book a few years ago and I was beyond excited to see they made an animated film, and it does not disappoint in the slightest!
Also just recently listened to Thundercloud about a week or so ago and it has a very special place in my heart. All of both @B-Front and @Toneshifterz songs are absolute bangers and I highly recommend listening to more of their music!
This music genre is called HARDSTYLE and it doesn't get used enough within the editing/AMV community, though I sometimes think that's not that bad.

Okay, so I realized I've yet the premiere for the video right after it was uploaded so I clicked an expired link. XDD
Anyways, I absolutely adore this AMV!!! I love how simple yet nicely detailed your editing is. It allows the viewers to have some breathable room between simple transitions and text then following it up with shaking and VHS-stylized effects! I adore the lighting effect you've done for 0:41 and so on! 1:06 - I adore the very subtle, crumbly look you given when the song starts to ramp itself up! Including the coloring changes you've added on. 1:29 - I really love the glowing, ghostly fonts you've chosen! Gives a real soft and relaxing tone to the rest of the video. THE THUNDERCLOUD EFFECTS WHEN THE HORSE TURNS INTO A PEGASUS, AAA SO TRULY BEAUTIFUL!!! 💜😍THE ENDING IS SO PRETTY AND EFFECT! I never thought about building up suspense towards the end of the video when it comes to the effects. The ending quote to match with this song, especially during the instrumental parts is extremely well done. I adore the flashes, transitions, spotty effects, and typography you've used in this video! I also really enjoyed the song you've chosen. Keep up the great work, Beau!

Everything in this AMV was done on purpose pretty much aside for maybe one or two little things. imho both vers's are good in their own way ..

I wish I had Apple TV. This was so beautiful! And very comforting! I never thought I would see another realistic animated horse again since the OG Spirit. The horse reminds me of my own horse, my best friend. Days and Days would he nuzzle my back as if to say "it's okay kiddo, I got you." I thank God for blessing me with such a kind animal. Ever since day one, Stormy was my shoulder to cry on along with Jesus as my rock. Girl this edit Is just beautiful!

I watched the movie on BBCiPlayer a few days ago! (I'm the UK), so you could try that. I was scared I couldn't watch it without AppleTV either, but when I looked it up, I found it on iPlayer.

@@Jonsydogg honestly if I’d have to choose between all the types of Hardstyle and only listen to that type…I’d choose Euphoric! Been an avid listener since 2013 and my heart is always for the Harder styles of dance music

Thank you so much for your comment! But I actually didn’t “Animate” this. It’s a film called The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse. All I did was just edit in and cut the clips, add coloring, effects, and the text/typography ❤️
