- In preparation for the release of Elden Ring’s upcoming DLC, we’re diving back in to get our characters leveled up, which means we’re going to need lots of one thing: Runes. The most effective rune acquisition methods look a bit different today than they did in 2022, so, we’re going to take a look at our old methods and some new ones just in time to tell you how to level up quickly for the Shadow of the Erdree DLC.

Also with the last method you can get even more runes if the eyes are glowing on the creatures.
Except none of this matters because it’s been confirmed that the DLC will have its own unique levelling experience and won’t be impacted by the level of your character from the base game.
Just do the ball off the cliff trick. Simple and easy

There is a faster way to farm greyoll, get the death poker by cheesing the deathrite bird by getting it to jump off the cliff. Go back to greyoll. Use the death poker ash of war L2 R1 switch to torch quickly and give greyoll one wack with the torch to reset the frost and keep repeating this cycle. You only need 10 strength, 12 dexterity and 11 intelligence if you use Radagons soreseal. If I'm correct if you are fast enough at it, you can get 3 kills of greyoll on one golden pickled fowl foot with this method.
This all sounds so convoluted and crazy. Very Soulsbourne.
Here's a faster way, get a friend with 99 of every rune above their 9 and have them drop all of them for you.
Or better yet, play the damn game

@@ATizzle08It is a pretty reasonable question if someone has played Dark souls and just wanted to start Elden Ring. Weapon durability was notorious in early souls games and they kind of got rid of it altoegthet instead of improving it as a feature.

dlc will have new lvling system this a pointless video
there is no "mastering" in doing rune farm exploits lol. all thats doing is giving u a shortcut to be over powered so u can kill bosses in 5 hits and gain none of the experience to get better at the game. since u dont ever actually get to learn enemy patterns when u are overpowered.
some ppl may actually enjoy the story or the world or the types of enemies, not the hardness of it. So such videos are great for those who couldnt cheese the game themselves :)
Subjective... even at 200, some enemies hit hard enough to be a threat. Having better stats just gives you a buffer to learn.

Entirely subjective.
It's clearly for people who just want to get to the DLC and maybe haven't played the game in 1-2 years, but also don't want to go into the DLC with a potentially overpowered character.
@@kwedl a decent level would be 70-90, if you don't want to be overpowered... surely you won't need to beat the game to get a relic sword to start farming, by the time, you might as well be overleveled... take this IGN review for example, claimed his relic sword at lv157, that's an overkill
Fun fact: if the devs didn't want players to be able to do any of this, they have had literal years to patch any of this or not include them to begin with.

There is one rune farm....Palace approach. The rest are garbage. If you need 1st run rune help, farms are not for you anyway.

If you want to test out several builds and Weapons without going through several NG+ this farming method is necessary, because at some point, there are just no bosses left which can give you runes anymore.
Killing the main dragon by the fort is the biggest mistake you ever make. This is one of the best farming ever. Ign really is lost.

NEVER USE A LEVELING EXPLOIT. If u play the game normally, like just walking around and spontaneously deciding what ur next step. u not having fun u just wanna be strong if ur doing this.
