Changing F1 tracks: Spa-Francorchamps

The original Spa-Francorchamps circuit was a daunting 14-kilometre monster. The shortened track remains the longest in use by F1 today - and a firm favourite of many drivers.

I hate the ‘new’ chicane. As you say just doesn’t suit the track whatsoever. Surely there’s a better way

Seems you forgot the pre WWII track, with the Stavelot hairpin and the Ancienne Douane instead of the Radillon...
