I live in West Cork, and I received a letter from the electricity company two days ago announcing that electricity costs are increasing over 50% on the next bill. My last bill was €212; the next bill in October will be, if I use the same amount of electricity, over €330. I can afford it, but I know a lot of elderly people in the area who will struggle to pay their increases. I'm sure the charges will increase again before the end of the year. It's all part of the attack on certain segments of the population. You're poor? Just die. You're old? Just die. You're sick? Just die. I pray for the demise of the criminal EU.

I'm a South African and it's called Loadshedding here. We have been experiencing it for a number of years now but it has been ramped up the last year. We now have Loadshedding everyday and that means no electricity for 6 to 8 hours during a 24 hour period.

Hi Clayton...I am from South Africa. We have had rolling blackouts (loadshedding) since 2008. We currently have no power for around 10 - 12 hours a day. The utility company is state owned and there is no political will to fix the grid. Our government is making all attempts for it to fail in order to force a move to green energy....they also just received a ton of cash from the US for this...which will be stolen yet again..it is Africa after all.

In New Zealand during the pandemic, the government sent the homeless to a tourist spot at Rotorua and put homeless people from other centres in the unused travellers motels and now they can’t get the people out . Rotorua is now a undesirable place to go. They created a problem.

Even more be thankful for people like Patrick Lancaster who actually go into battle zones to report on conflicts. The "mainstream media" hides securely in hotels in Kiev reporting whatever the daily briefing tells them to report. In other areas, the mainstream media is located in a completely different country such as NPR reporting on Israeli-Palestinian conflicts from Beirut or NPR reporters in Seoul, Korea reporting about Japan.

@@AlxzAlec It’s hard to think out of the box when news/information is censored, vetted through the lens of propaganda, or just left out. This is a problem all over the world. An uninformed people is easier to control.
