Very under rated music
What lovely, clear, fluent English Jurowski speaks - and obviously he is fluent in German, too, as well as his native Russian. I have long been an admirer, having heard him conduct the LPO many times at Glyndebourne and in the RFH.
Johan from Amsterdam, but listening in from Germany. Love the RCO. Such a perfect sound.
A wonderful piece by Zemlinsky.
It's good to see it getting some love. A fine performance led by Vladimir Jurowski.
I've had the EMI James Conlan disc for a long time. Conlan's recording of Zemlinsky's Lyric Symphony is excellent as well.
I love this orchester.....🥰🥰🥰🥰💯
Quelle découverte ! Bravo!

I 'm listening from Venice....fantastic sound .thanks
This piece reminded me of Vitezslav Novak's symphonic poem 'Toman and the Wood Nymph'. It is also a post-romantic piece for large orchestra, based on a Czech folk legend. It would be nice to listen like this in the future.
After theMahler's symphonyes you are in my heart
My name is José Francisco, I'm from Brazil. We are quarantined and hooked up to quality music ...

Leuke, goede inleiding,
A very nice work; even if Zemlinsky thought so little of it.
His problem. He had no clue. :P :D
@@bolemirnoc604 - yeah, but somehow he managed to compose it, the ignorant cluck.
My friends harpists are working a lot
Bliblablub
What work is this???
I have no idea. But if I’d
make a guess it would be Die Seejungfrau by Zemlinsky 😉
@@aukej6024 How did you come to that conclusion? ;)
@@Quotenwagnerianer - quite a logical leap!
@@aukej6024 I bet a little mermaid told you that!
