Hi we are a car sales and after connecting a power pack the car couldn’t start and the immobiliser flashing came on. Tried everything including key programming lucky we have an in-house programming scanner but it didn’t work. Saw this video and yes the same fuse F27 was blown giving ECM communication issue and scanner failing to connect. Replaced fuse and boom the car started. Many thanks 👏
I had the same symptoms after changing out a dead battery. Multiple warnings coming up about airbag fault and power steering faults amongst others. Anyway, I checked fuse 27 and it wasn't blown. I was considering unplugging the positive terminal from the battery for a few mins and retrying. However, simply unplug that fuse and waiting a minute or so, then re fixing the fuse fixed my issue. Hi, i have Ford fiesta 2009, push start keyless. When i push start button i only see messege on display steering malfunction service now. Is this similiar to your problem? Egnition dosent come on and steering is locked AS well. I didnt have problem with steering last Time car was on and was working perfectly. Any idea what problem my car have?

I have got this exact same fault on my 2003 Ford Transit connect and was told the same thing that i need to find someone with Ford IDS to reprogram the keys. I have checked all fuses but didn’t find any blown ones. Will have another look. Where abouts are you based?
