I've taken mine (2006 Kawasaki 900 Vulcan Classic LT) numerous times to change tire, repair tube puncture, change drive gears, etc. Never have I needed to remove wiring or fenders. The wheel will, after pulling the shaft, lay over enough to walk it out easily.
just think if the rear fender had a little hing so that it could open up ,you would not have to remove all these parts ( dismanle half the bike ) ,and reinstall ,I'm changing to the custom rear fender /modified lighting ,and my saddle bags are throw-over.
Thank you for your comment sir and from what it sounds like yeah with a custom rear fender and throw over saddlebags that sounds like a good combination right there I like to see that now about the video I wanted to show people how to take the rear wheel off of the motorcycle without having to put it on a floor jack or a lift and youwould be able to roll the rear wheel out from under the bike thank you for your comment sir 🤗
Thank you for your comment sir and no I did not because the difference of was caulked in the disent that I cut the bares off it's very simple to do sorry about spelling sir but thank you for your comment sir 👍
Thanks for this very useful info. One question have you renewed the brake disk rota on the rear.? If so was it much of a job to get off.? Im lucky as I have a bike two point high rise jack and a garage pit so pretty sure i can remove the wheel without the fender removal . Plus its the custom not the classic so a slightly shorter fender. Thanks again mate. Lee ( UK)
It's all factorie the bike had 4172 miles on it when I got it and the last time it was tag was in 2011 and one owner breaks are from the factory....it's a 2007 and I love it...thank you for your comment sir...And as for removing rotor It should be easy...
@@steelpix pretty well, thanks. I did need an extra inch over my makeshift wooden jack stand to get the tire out. So I used a small hydraulic jack temporarily to get it out then in again. It was really pretty straightforward. The most difficult part was getting the axel and spacers back on. But that is mostly patience.
Jack it up higher and then there's no need to take half the bike apart. Removing the exhaust to give more hand room is quicker and easier and how the shop manual shows how to remove the rear wheel
Thank you for your comment sir I do not have a shop manual for that bike and that's the way I have removed that rear tire twice and two I like to be able to just roll the tire out from under it instead of picking the tire up thank you for your comment sir 👍
Bro, there is no need to remove all those parts. Take off the calliper, take out the axl, that is it. You have to put a mark on the spanner and swingarm, not on the nuts.
@@corneilcorneil I'm very sorry you feel that way but when you put a mark on your bots you can put them back in the same place when you started I'm very sorry that you dis agreed thank you for your comment 👍
I understand what you are saying but it is so much fun to take it apart and show people how to do it with out buying hi dollar equipment thank you for your comment sir
Oddly enough, I couldn't remember which way that brake side spacer goes on the shaft... thanks for fixing my brain fart, Sir.
You are very welcome sir 👍
Thank you for this video. Manuals are nice but videos are king.
Thank you for your comment sir very appreciative thank you 🤗

@@lp.670so, just delete the video, because you fool newbie wrenchers
Great Job, makes it easy and no lift jack needed just a scissors jack. Great, got that.
Thank you sir

Outstanding video, thank you for taking time to do it.
Thank you sir I appreciate your comment 👍
Só não entendi porque fez tudo isso com o capacete , só pra filmar, mas ficou bom a filmagem.
Good video, I’m removing mine today on a custom. Going to skip the fender work. Anyways thanks.
How did you do without the fender removal?

Great video 👍🏻
Just the info I was looking for!!
Glad to help.

No need to remove the exhaust at all.

@@lp.670 Also wrong, you don't put marks om your *NUTS, (that are no bolts) but on the tensioners and swingarm.
You see, wrong again.
@@corneilcorneil will you please open your eyes and pay attention to the video your channel has no content but you know All??????
Big help. Thx.

Thanks!!!!
You are very welcome sir 👍 sorry it took me so long to respond to your comment
Nice
Thank you 👍
Come change mine now please lol!
Wow! You really make an easy job so much harder than it is...🙄
Thank you sir for your comment but that's just the way I do things but you got to admit it makes a good video
Зачем столько лишних действий??? Зачем надо было снимать крыло? Делается элементарно и намного быстрее!!!!
Your trippin just take the axke out and pull the tire. No need to take apart half the bike
