I'm one of the million people that previously asked about the plates. I'm surprised that bumper can support them that far out. How many bolts are in the bumper and how much weight is on it ?

Not quite a million questions about those weights - but a fair amount. :) The bumper has no trouble supporting the weight. It's a pretty stout system. I think there's a plate underneath the weight stack to help hold it all in place, then one big bolt up through the entire stack. A bungee cord helps hold them all together. I can't remember exactly how much each plate weighs. I think 10-20 lbs each maybe?

If each separate weight is twenty pounds each, the five weights add a total of a hundred pounds to the front bumper. I am sure the bumper trailer ball mounting area is rated for at least a hundred pound trailer tongue load. Should not be a problem at all.
