I literally got to the end, and i thought there was more. Like we didn't even fight mephisto. I think the boss fight was Vessel of Hatred? I literally cannot remember any other bosses from the game.
I was having some fun messing around with the new class. But then I finished the story and just couldn't do it anymore. Not one moment after, I logged out for good. They had to try to make it that bad. I could have done a better job and I've never written out a plot in my life.
Why does Blizzard insert some shitty storylines into Diablo franchise since Diablo III ? The story in 1 and 2 was simple - you are the hero, there are some demons. Kill them before the world is doomed. You only had amazing cinematics in between acts. And these were great, because they did not try to insert some crappy storylines and characters that you did not care about. I miss the simpler times.
In Diablo 5 we will learn that Diablo and his brothers were just misunderstood and there is good and love deep inside their hearts. And Angels are misoginist and racist pigs.
Nyrelle lost the arm during the quest to find the weakness to Lothars apprentice(The pale guy from the introcinematic). If i remember correctly. She got infected by the dreggs so Lothar had to cut of the arm in order to save her life. And i agree the story in the d4 is not that great. Blizzard did have a lot of opportunities but they did not use them well.
@@aegarsif you skip all the dialogue/cutscenes (like 99% of us do) It should take maybe 3-4 hours if you have a build that can crush everything aka any spiritborn build

I am sorry, but there is no endgame. You can do the same shit in the game at torment 1 as torment 4. The only thing is different is the monsters HP and Dmg. This is not endgame. This is the laziest shit ever experienced in arpgs.
The story IS shit. It's extremely surface level with no relatable or likable characters. The spirit realm has some cool lore, but it's relatively shallow. Neither of the characters are deep or well written. I didn't care about the story throughout, and I listened to every single dialogue. However I would definitely not call it woke. People's sexuality is never mentioned. No one uses woke or progressive language. There's no hate on men or masculinity. No agenda being driven. Thr story is garbage but you're inserting this wokeness into it yourself. Speaking as someone who hates wokeness in anything, get a grip. Not everything is woke because it contains females or black people.

Just play Grim Dawn instead, IMO it's the best isometric ARPG of all time. Why anyone would bother with this slop is beyond me tbh.
