Mineola Nature Preserve, Mineola TX, Horseback Riding

Mineola Nature Preserve Equestrian Camp and trails. 10-15 miles of trails, some through muddy bottoms/wetlands of the Sabine River. Used to be an old Railroad that went through here, and now the railroad bed is a hiking trail to the Sabine River.
Camp includes electrical and water hookups, bathrooms, showers, picnic tables, some covered pens, horse washing areas, round pen, wide open parking lot, hitching rails, handicap accessible ramp, dumpster and pavilion.
Trails are mostly sand or clay in northern half, but black topsoil/mud near the river bottoms on southern half. Not easy to ride after it rains.
