      Savage Squad The patient didn’t cause this issue. Whatever caused the initial water leak is what brought in the roaches and caused the mold. This is a issue with the management company not maintaining the property properly and allowing a small leak to turn into a massive and expensive problem.

Between the bed bugs, abuse,theft poor help, and everyone wanting to go home so many lost the will to live. I told my husband to put a pillow over my face before he puts me in one of those places. God bless everyone in one.

Unfortunately some people are not afforded that option. Some have kids and jobs that take up all of their time especially single parents. I try not to judge but I certainly will judge those who have the means to care for their Mother, Father, Grandmother.... but toss them into homes that are not giving proper care just so they don't have to deal with them. @Frick Urlegs @Mandy D I’ve noticed that in some places too, especially nursing homes that house medium or low income residents. I used to participate in chorus caroling tours to nursing homes. Some would have very poor ventilation and smell musty... others had a greater amount of elderly people that appeared overmedicated or unattended. Both circumstances happened more often in lower income areas.

    • @pokemongamer3646
      @pokemongamer3646 4 года назад +6

      @@frickurlegs it depends state to state on the level of assistance they are allowed to provide in assisted living. Usually assisted living is meals, very light housekeeping, and medication reminders. The next level is memory care which fo help with personal needs, then long term care which is full assistance. It really appears the person was probably not appropriate for this level of care. I wonder why the health department wasn't didn't shutdown the building until the mold was gone, because mold is definitely the buildings issue, not the resident's hoarding problem.

      Depending on the place honestly. I worked at an assisted living facility where the staff and housekeeping were not allowed to touch their belongings even if it was garbage. Unless they wanted it gone. Because its a liability issue if something is misplaced or thrown out. Plus they believed since they're paying $3k-$10k a month to live there they can live how they want. I've almost went home with roaches, bed bugs, mice. Because of the belongings they bring in. And most places don't spray stuff down until it becomes an issue.

    Was it ever determined where all that water was coming from that caused 4 floors worth of mold? And how could an assisted living facility let a water leak go that bad for that long?

    • @ayajade6683

      Water leaks can do an insane amount of damage in a short period of time not sure how long it was occuring for but even a week can cause black mold and a need for a demo.

I've always been interested in autopsies and crime scene clean-up and I've done a lot of cleaning jobs from Banks two old rentals some where hordes. I love seeing the end results. And it's always nice to help someone. Thank you all you do you helped so many people. From giving someone their home back to helping people with their morning and cleaning up after their loved ones I love how you don't just take out where they passed instead take out a whole section so the family don't have to look at where their loved ones had passed.

      I wonder why these people didn't have a caregiver. I am disabled and I have a caregiver 37 hours a week. The horrible thing is that they lived with a cochroach infestation that should have been regularly sprayed for by the manager. This didn't seem like a horrible hoard just a poor old couple that couldn't keep up with the day to day cleaning and stuff.
