Worlds best chili, with one chili powder... epic fail... More like worlds easiest "chili" lol... Also uncovered, lose all your flavor that way especially the cumin... google is a fail, epic fail lol...
Very entertaining video as usual Dave, but there is no way this recipe is the *worlds best* chili. Google is wrong on this one and not insulting the original chef, but nope. This is more akin to a standard “garden variety” chili.
Dave I ate chili at my favorite restaurant for 30 years and then they closed ! I was able get the recipe after a few years and I have been making that chili for the last 15 years. One secret ingredients is the chili powder which is " Mexene " which can be purchased on line from Texas foods direct. This is the best chili powder made !!! Read about it on line as its been around for 100 years. Other important ingredients are Cumin, Garlic powder, Crushed Red pepper, Ground Red Pepper. This is a fairly simple recipe and I would like to send you a copy if I could find some way to get it to you. The recipe also calls for Tomato juice, along with onion
You are like hundreds of us out here....tryin' to feed our families. You are refreshing. Chili is one of those things, that gets better the 2nd day or in a crock pot. P.S. Does your dog clean up the floor after you? I notice quite a bit dropped or brushed on the floor🙂 You are a delight.
We owned a restaurant back in the mid 70’s and I learned to make chili there! This would not compete I dont think! For instance the beans! And it was much thicker! We cooked it for about 3 hours and used it on enchiladas and served by the bowl! We had customers come from a couple of near by tons! I’ve never written it out but we always added tomato juice instead of broth! We won cook offs with it and have a gold fire hydrant to prove it! We used a big chili meat and cooked it in tomato use! No browning! Every bite was the best! We used Morton’s chili blend! Make 5-6 lbs at a time!
Man of many talents! Love the cooking man, I am a novice chef myself, always looking for good stuff to eat and cook and tips! Hope the channel does great!
Hey Dave, my husband Dave and I have been watching over on ncpicker and love you there. Great concept, love the energy and love that you left your blooper in (next time let it cool)😂🤣😂 I truly laughed out loud and thank you for that!! Good luck with your new channel and I'm off to watch your others!! Have a great day, Leah🤗❤️
I've been using this same recipe for over five years now. It's so easy and tasty that I have containers of it frozen so it's available at a moment's notice when that need for chili comes over me. I also have all the ingredients in stock for backup. It even goes good over spaghetti noodles.
The Bush’s Chili beans are packed in a sauce intended to be used in the chili. You may even save some money if you are going to drain them by using regular kidney or black beans. Good video!
I watch all your videos so i have to add this to my list, you have more energy than any one person should have. This video had me laughing, I was just thinking if you had let that cool and then you took a bite, that even hurt me it was so hot. Can't wait to watch the next one.
Awesome video! Cooking with A.D.D. Dave 😂😂😂 How fortunate your family is to have you cook for them! I will be waiting for every new video. Thank you for sharing!
You are doing a wonderful job. If you are trying and learning as you go your showing your viewers it doesn’t have to be perfect. I really enjoy your videos 😊👍💐
I have found that sometimes it`s the love you put into it helps. After I got divorced, my mom came out to visit & she wanted us to make some chili & one of the things she kept telling me "be careful !! not too much!" Welll--- while she wasn`t looking, I dumped in a whole lot!! After all was said and done, she said that was the best chli she had ever made!! Never told her! Love & miss you Mom!!
I like that the spices are cooked in with browning meat in this recipe. I think it gives a superior result in cooking off the spices and developing the flavour. Otherwise a good basic recipe for beginners. Thanks for an entertaining video!
I took a break from the incredibly long TtC podcast...to come and watch this! Great job...you had me laughing. I am a sloppy cook, so relatable.best of luck to you on the new channel.
We make chili all the time but in a crock pot!! Could you link the recipe you use with the sausage and stuff!!! I'm always looking to switch it up! Also was half expecting you to name the channel NC Skillet!
You did great with the onion. I learned from watching too much Food Network over the years. Tyler Florence taught to cut into planks, sticks, and then cubes leaving the root intact so it holds together but what you did was great. Do what works for you. Doesn’t matter how you get it done as long as it gets done. You’ll find your stride and be more comfortable as you make more videos with this new niche. I look forward to seeing more of your humor as the channel grows. I plan to start a reselling channel and know the first few videos will suck even though I know the field. I commend you for being super professional with all the cameras. I have one for my cooking videos. I have zero budget lol 😂 And now I’m hungry. Lol Looks yummy. I totally think you should do a follow up with the recipe you like better.
Great videos. I have a fan already. You mentioned in the Mac Cheese video, meatball subs, that would be a good one to try. Also Fettucini Alfredo, Sloppy Joes, macaroni salad, potato salad. As you do more of these videos the flow will become easier and better
I grew up thinking chili always had beans. Then I learned many people make it without beans, like in Texas.I was in Texas and had some chili( no beans). Wow! But I still make it with beans.
I like your idea for this channel! You should do a World’s Best Fry Sauce episode! I just moved back east from Oregon and there’s much debate in the PNW about what all is supposed to go into fry sauce.
Love watching your new Chanel. I always eat my chili with frito chips. I'm watching all the videos to support your channel. Am a fellow reseller part-time & enjoy your NC picker channel too. Keep up the hard work but don't forget to do some of the fun things with your family.
You look like you ate the thrash to cash podcast cast but I'm sure they are still alive? I loved the video keep it up. Subscribed and can't wait to see more.
Dave, when draining fat into the sink you should really run the HOT 🔥 WATER tap so the fat doesn't solidify in the pipes and block the sink. Trust me I learnt the hard way as the fat went hard in the S bend and even a plumber had trouble unblocking it.
I know we are in crappy times economically but, might I suggest that IF you are going to eat “raw” foods i.e. cheddar cheese, I would recommend a name brand. My go to is Sargento for pre-shredded and sliced as it has much less or none of the anti-stick powder in the bags and has wonderful flavor, more like shredding your own but, way less work and mess. Just my unsolicited opinion. My rule of eating has always been “if I am to eat it straight, like canned beans as a side dish, I always buy name brand. If it’s cooked in, like with chili beans, store brands are acceptable”. I do like my chili beans runnier than thick UNLESS I am making Frito Pie. SHARPEN YOUR KNIVES! Dull knives are the most dangerous ones to use 👍🏻
It was fun watching you cook. No stuck up chef that thinks his food is the greatest. You stuck to the recipe, which most people don’t do. I always put bell peppers in my chili, but leave out the cumin. (I don’t like it.) Will watch this channel for sure.
The cumin comes from immigrants from the Canary Islands that settled in San Antonio de Bexar in the 1730s. It is a definitive ingredient in chili. But hey, chili doesn't have beans. Chili isn't even historically made with ground meat, but rather with cubes of beef.
@@ryankiblinger3382 I really don’t like cumin, so it won’t go in chili I make for my husband and me. Making it with cubes of beef sounds great. I might just try it that way.
This was a fun video to watch, I like how empirical you were. I agree, that’s definitely NOT the worlds best but it’s certainly easy. I’m from Australia and what you made there was a tame spaghetti sauce with beans. Going to watch your version now.
You should try Cheech Jean-Pierre's chili. It's fantastic and it's made with spicy Italian sausage and ground beef short rib. Very delicious but time consuming because he caramelizes the onions, a process that can take the better part of an hour.
Yes, I would like to watch you make your chili recipe. I find your cooking channel comical, probably more so then your other RUclips videos. But the most comical are your Trash to Cash podcast posts. But continue with the content clan use as many laughs as your will to provide 😅
I haven't made much chili, but from recipes I've seen, even on blogs, it's basic chili. thanks for the review :) Maybe better to google award winning chili. There's a recipe by a female texan chef and she uses beef brisket with some extra tips. the thumbnail image had me salivating! I'd never urse her recipe, but i'd sure buy a bucket of it!
Draining and washing the worlds best chili beans was my 1st clue that this is not the worlds best chili. And it needs to be doubled so you can freeze half for later. There are literally hundreds of excellent chili recipes. This is not one of them.
I found a soul-brother! We look a lil alike, we cook alike,... it's all good! gonna make the chili right now, groceries were just delivered! I am gonna add some stuff though!
So many different varities of chili. I think this chili you just made needs to some heat. Not a lot, just enough to let you know its there. A couples of jalepeno's at the end. Nice work Dave.
Please help a boomer .. I’m computer challenged. . How do I find you via Google ?what name does your channel go by? Nice recipe for chili. But yours sounds better the thought of sausage and Chuck roast sounds delish. Please hep an old man out
OMG!! We may be related….I’m as graceful as you in the kitchen…but the end result is the same - we end up knocking out some good food….but I have to say I love the first taste and you burning your mouth…LMAO. Keep the videos coming you have some great content.
mate I think you should have used tea spoons with some of those ingredients , but what do I know , you can take more heat than me , I made a chilli last night but used fresh chillies instead and fresh garlic too , mine was good , dont know if I would call it the best in the world , also used half beef half pork , yummy , bon apatite
This is similar to my chili but I have some secret ingredients that I would add - a bottle of non-alcoholic beer, a can of pork and beans and a jar of black beans and corn salsa. Then I cook it in a crock pot for about 6 hours.

I just posted my personal favorite CHILI recipe video! Watch that next! : ruclips.net/video/1uM-6Xp71pA/видео.html

I know this was a year old, but I had so much enjoyment watching this video while making my own chili recipe! Kudos!
No matter what channel of yours I watch, I always leave with a big smile. You being you is so entertaining and often times a laugh out loud.
How? 4 RUclips channels, an Ebay store, an hour and a half podcast, a family, and a full time job!?! My God man. I'm here for it
I think he has a twin like Momma Picker.
Why 4 channels?
Nice to watch you cook. Was like watching the food channel with a nervous cook! Keep it up!
Love your videos I cook along with you you make it so easy ❤️thanks so much ❤️

Thanks for an entertaining video!
Mise en place is the term for prepping all your items before you cook! Just a fun fact I learned in culinary school :)
Yes please love to see your recipe 💐
I’m packing eBay orders lol. I love cooking excited to watch all the videos.
Definitely share the other Chile recipe. I really like the Silver Palate “Chile for a Crowd” recipe …has a few different ingredients.
chili
Just love this recipe. We make it at least once a month.
Tip: cut the onion in half, then half again. Cut from the middle out, leave the ends on(the root). It's supposed to cut down on the tears
great video dave, love this concept!
I took a break from the incredibly long TtC podcast...to come and watch this! Great job...you had me laughing. I am a sloppy cook, so relatable.best of luck to you on the new channel.
Yes, I would like your recipe for chili. tfs
Loved the videos, let's see your chili recipe ;)
Dude I love a good chili. I haven’t found a good recipe yet but this looks promising. Thank you for the great video. I’m gonna give it a try.
We laughed so much watching this thanks, even better than the scraping of the toasted cheese sandwich. It cheered us up no end.
We make chili all the time but in a crock pot!! Could you link the recipe you use with the sausage and stuff!!! I'm always looking to switch it up! Also was half expecting you to name the channel NC Skillet!

3 seconds in already better editing than all NC channels well done
I would like to have your recipe for chili. Also your videos are interesting and educational.
Great videos. I have a fan already. You mentioned in the Mac Cheese video, meatball subs, that would be a good one to try. Also Fettucini Alfredo, Sloppy Joes, macaroni salad, potato salad. As you do more of these videos the flow will become easier and better
Agree, love your new channel.
Getting two cooks to agree on "the world's best chili" would be a major accomplishment.
I add steak sauce, Mrs Ts Bloody Mary mix and baking cocoa, to my chili. It’s sooooo good!
Yes, please share your recipe.
I grew up thinking chili always had beans. Then I learned many people make it without beans, like in Texas.I was in Texas and had some chili( no beans). Wow! But I still make it with beans.
Love your honesty
I just found this video this morning, just found you here yesterday…you made me laugh.
No matter how good the dish is you need to top it with a handful of cheddar cheese and a dollup of sour cream. 😋
Keeping real dude! Love it!!
yes please do a video on your recipe I need a good one
I like your idea for this channel! You should do a World’s Best Fry Sauce episode! I just moved back east from Oregon and there’s much debate in the PNW about what all is supposed to go into fry sauce.
Brilliant presentation of how to cook!
Are you being sarcastic?
Love watching your new Chanel. I always eat my chili with frito chips. I'm watching all the videos to support your channel. Am a fellow reseller part-time & enjoy your NC picker channel too. Keep up the hard work but don't forget to do some of the fun things with your family.
Nice watching you cook. Unfortunately, Google doesn't know anything about chili.
Wow. Cant wait to make this. Extra spicy for my crew
You look like you ate the thrash to cash podcast cast but I'm sure they are still alive? I loved the video keep it up. Subscribed and can't wait to see more.

99% of real plumbers do NOT clean drains. They are simply called 'drain cleaners.'

And American Bubble Boy and Taco Bell.

You do a great job I love the fact that you're not perfect and it's going to turn out
Ofc we want to see your recipe for the better chili!
I’m having an anxiety attack watching you wield that knife. Glad it’s worked out.

Yes make yours; what time is dinner?
I’m judging how you chop onions, sir
I knew you would!
I would love to see your chili recipe
Love it. Come cook at my house

Just dropped the video today!! Check it out - its my personal favorite recipe
The chili looks a little watery. I am surprise that it only said to simmer for 20 minutes. I am also surprise that it didn't include chili powder.
Exactly! Chili ingredients need to simmer together for at least 1 hour. Leaving out chili powder doesn't make one bit of sense, either.
Show us your Chili Dave, it sounds delicious!
This is similar to my chili but I have some secret ingredients that I would add - a bottle of non-alcoholic beer, a can of pork and beans and a jar of black beans and corn salsa. Then I cook it in a crock pot for about 6 hours.
I'm making it tommorow
What about the world's best meatloaf ? If your a baker how about the world's best brownies?
This is similar to my chili but I also add beer and Williams brand Tex-Mex chili powder. and I cook it for 6 hours.
Quick tip there is usually a button on those pages that say jump to recipe.
Oh and I am absolutely judging you on your onion cutting....
Worlds best Philly cheese steak, or chicken tender sandwich I would like you to make and try.....
If Google says it is, then it must be true, right? WRONG.
It simply means that... views, reviews, 'clicks', shares, comments, subscribers, etc... (and of course, the almighty DOLLAR) ... proclaims it actually IS the world's best. It's all about money.

All homemade chili is good. People have different styles.
I always put half a pound of hot sausage in my chili…….Tasty!!
Chili without chili 🌶?
