I’m only 5 minutes in and already I’m in awe - wow! Gorgeous work, and excellent workmanship on marrying new with old. Thank you for pronouncing Willys properly. Edit - good golly - the stretch, the windows, the interior, the electric cowl vent……..wow, wow, wow!!!

I would imagine stretching the cab would give you more interior room, especially leg room which these vehicles lacked. Surprised that wasn't mentioned.
It is a very awesome build!

I'm in Idaho as well and looking to build a Willys truck. I'd love to meet this guy, check out his truck, and I guess pick his brain.

All that "stretching" should have just got a 2000 Cadillac escalade frame and dropped the cab and bed right down on it. Then you could have dropped the 383 in that bad boy. The frame is 1/16 of an inch. Split the difference front to back and dude would have saved a shit ton of money. SMH.

A Cadillac...an Escalade...too much sheetmetal! LOL. Thanks for the input, Johnny!

@@Gone_Gpn Yeah you can get a 2000 escalade for 2k with a blown motor. Then do a full restomod with it. Just my 2 bits.
