From 2003, this electronic music is being re-released 8th March 2024 on RUclips to reach a wider and possibly wiser audience.
Originally written and recorded in Birmingham UK in 2003, this is a retro piece of IDM / Electronica history - revised and re-issued for a modern RUclips audience.
The following review is taken from issue 231 of The Wire (May 2003) - within the Size Matters section of the magazine:
'Arcade are a young outfit from Birmingham who take electronic basics and f*** with them mercilessly. Their new single, c=f^0+0d / slo fi (Experimental Seafood NO NUMBER 7"), takes one of the weirdest approaches to drum 'n' bass disassembledge ever on the A side, and the noise-pips on the B side disembowel the concept of happy electronica pretty well. Somewhat unnerving if you actually pay attention to them, both tracks have much more to offer than most things running similar paths. And they may both be used to annoy roomates with great success.
