Comparing Shohei to Ruth is nonsense. HR numbers are hit against non professional players and Ruth wasn’t two way not even for a whole season of those HR. In what other sport do we insist on clinging on to numbers which was recorded almost a century ago when things were not rigid, nobody check for anything… Babe has made lots of fans happy 100 years ago lets celebrate what he meant for baseball at the time but the stats are not comparable at all.
