I don't like her attitude. There are people more desperate than her in the world who are probably still more polite than her. Reality is harsh, but being rude will get you nowhere. You just add to the misery of the world. So, yeah, Eden was being a bitch and I honestly don't feel all that bad for her, tbh. If I sound harsh, then so be it, but reality is unfair and harsh. That's sadly a thing called LIFE. Not to say I'm not empathetic, but I can't spare every single person empathy or I'd become exhausted. If you can't afford to raise a child, don't have children in the first place. Unfortunately, a lot of humans lack common sense and logic. They are overrun by their emotions and it causes others around them to suffer, including themselves. Eden is a good example of this. I don't know her whole story, obviously, but I don't NEED to. If anything, she should be getting help and support, but going on this show and taking her desperation out on others was probably not the best way to do that. I mean, they're all being expoited for their vulnerabilities. This show is gross and is another example of greedy, expoitative rich people who look down on those who are struggling financially. I still had to watch, cause it's Ally, so I'll suffer. lol

God, this is such a weird situation with Eden. She clearly went into that room knowing that she had to leave with the money. As much as she did act aggressive and demanding, she's got a child relying on her, and if she's struggling to buy food for her kid, I really can't blame her for doing anything it takes to win this game. This whole video is just a critique of capitalism, honestly.
At the end of the day, I can't blame Eden. Having a child changes the whole calculation of who-deserves-what.

Everyone has different severities of it but treatments range from mild pain medicine(mostly NSAIDs such as advil and aleve) to ice packs and resting it. Notice how she didn't actually explain what tendonitis was or what treatment would cost?
(Also tendonitis does heal, similarly to a sprain. It's not like arthritis or carpal tunnel.)

This show is extremely hard to watch why does it exist (Ally you're great don't worry)
This series of Cut feels like a much less life threatening version of squid games. it makes the ones that are making polite accusations out to be the villain for stopping to low blows to win the cash prize, but the true villain is the company, watching them suffer for content. The company could have easily paid that much to each person, but instead have them fight over it, forcing the women to be cutthroat over what is not a small amount of money, but isn't a life altering amount either. It's enough to buy time before the next big struggle for most of these women, so it does nothing to end any one of their struggles in a more stable or permanent way. I saw another comment saying it had "Queen for a Day" vibes; I can't help but agree if only to suggest that this is far worse. Since we now can more easily see how capitalism is a system that will always keep the poor/unfortunate/disenfranchised people down, unless they are cutthroat enough to stomp over other people. The show makes it appear like a fun little contest- to the contestants, it's not. This isn't a game that can be truly won. Even though Eden got the $1000, she now has to struggle with the guilt of knowing that there are other people in bad situations who can also use the money.
Anyway, just my take.

So about the Eden thing... if you have a child and you're sole responsibility is to care for that child, why did you wait this long until you're about to be evicted to try and get the money? And why is one of those ways, going on a game show...? She had a 1/7 chance to win, it wasn't guaranteed she'd win that money. And once that money is gone, what about the next time she has to pay rent? The better prize for her would've been child care and a well paying job so she didn't have to seek out game shows to pay her rent on..? Also these competitions are best settled through a randomized game of chance or a test of skill, because once you start measuring each other's needs for the money, you start pitting your struggles against each other and it always gets awkward and feelings get hurt.

I watched this video when it ✨came out✨ and I have a very strong love/hate relationship with it. I think McKee should’ve gotten the $1000. She was overall just a better person and as a person with physical ailments, I know how she feels. I think Eden was self-centered, entitled,and annoying. Tendinitis is not that big a deal, it's common and heals if you rest your arm. The fact that she used that as a reason was not good, like using a sprained ankle or something, she didn't deserve the money.

I feel like mature civil human beings would approach this situation in one of two ways: 1) split the money evenly and part ways or 2) narrow it down to the people who clearly need it more, which in this case was probably the single mom and the girl with tendonitis, then discuss from there or just split it between them two.
