- The all new 2023 mv Agusta 800rr dragster "America" edition has a few cool features and a super slick paint job that really fit the bike well, so what do you think? Would you add one to your garage? 🤔
Heres some added detail on the bike
From totalmotorcycle.com
Always ready to react to the slightest pressure on the throttle, the 140 HP and 87 Nm three-cylinder engine on the Dragster 800 RR SCS can count on electronic management that’s constantly evolving. The extremely sensitive response is combined with an advanced Smart Clutch System to allow this sophisticated engine to reach its full potential.
COUNTER-ROTATING CRANKSHAFT
CAM FOLLOWERS WITH DLC COATING TO REDUCE INTERNAL FRICTION AND IMPROVE PERFORMANCE
OPTIMISED CRANKSHAFT MAIN BEARINGS, CONNECTION ROD BEARINGS AND COUNTERSHAFT BEARINGS TO REDUCE FRICTION AND INCREASE RELIABILITY
OPTIMISED CLUTCH BASKET FOR SMOOTHER ENGAGEMENT
The SCS 2.0 system allows a perfect match between the clutch action and the delivery curve of the three-cylinder engine. The support of highly sophisticated electronics has allowed MV engineers to unlock the secret to beating traditional-clutch models in acceleration performance.
Mv really outdid themselves here, thank you MV for the weekend of fun and a special thank you to Jose!
Thanks for watching

If I were to buy this bike the first thing I'd change will be those mirrors 😂
Actually, do you have a good recommendation for alternative mirrors?
Use this comment as a poll as to whether Carson should buy this bike or not 👀
MV is the luxury mc, No other Italien bike is made like this. you do not meet other MV when you go to the local Bike meeting, they are special. do not compare ducati or Guzzi. this is the real " ferri Lamborghini" mc bike. I have a Superveloce AGO special edition, no 85 produceded out of 300 pcs. and it make me smile, so do the other mc when I arrive at the meeting.
I have a 2021 Dragster RC SCS. I've had many bikes over the years, including a couple of F3's, but I think I will never sell my Dragster. The bike is pure perfection. Comfortable, powerful, smooth, exotic sounding, high revs, extremely easy to ride (SCS just "helps"), confidence inspiring, and above all...a pure work of art. My brother bought a Ducati Supersport around the same time, and while that bike looks great....it just pales in comparison. And I just couldn't fall in love with it, unlike my MV. I just pray they get some more dealers in the US soon! It's pathetic right now. My local dealer has 1 bike. The one in Atlanta I think has 3?
@CyrusDM You still shift the gears manually, but can do so without the clutch. Up and down. Basically, the only time you actually need to use the clutch is starting the bike. You can still use it if you want. I still do when slow movements are needed as well as stopping and putting it into first. Just know, when it's cold, or at low revs, the quick-shifting feature is a little funky. Like it requires an uncomfortable amount of pressure to change gears, without using the clutch. It gets smoother as it warms up.
really good video and it seems like a real awesome bike
We want this in Japan too
I have a 2015 model w/15,000 miles it fly's no problem taking out majority of 1000 c.c. bikes unless your judging top speed....It's ultra light has 140h.p. and naked bike gearing. I also have a Saddle-Sore1000 certificate with this bike 1065 miles 22hrs. in the saddle.
Do you ever need to use the clutch, if not what’s the point of having it
Starting in Gear
The bike of course still has a clutch, it's just operated by the SCS system.
The clutch LEVER is there just to give you the option, because why not?
I own an SCS. Here's how it works. Turn the bike on, hold clutch, shift into first gear, let go of clutch. The bike just sits there idling. When you want to go, you just apply throttle...don't even need to touch the clutch. While in motion, you just click up the gears, or down...again without the clutch or letting off the throttle (think of it as a paddle shift in a car). When stopping, again, no clutch...just brake. Come to a stop, still no clutch. Taking off, again only throttle. It makes for an extremely easy, relaxing ride. However...if you still want to use the clutch like normal, and shift like normal, you can absolutely do that too. The SCS isn't really a handicap, although I can see where it could be considered one. It's just a cool technology that makes for a chill, smooth ride. I will never get over how smooth the bike is to ride. I compare it to electric bikes, but with the engine of an F1 car. :)
@@vhayne91777 And guess what: SCS works like that even if you don't tell people on the internet what you own!
Nice, but can you ride it more then 20 miles before your crippled?
Sick bike do you think it would smoke a ducati panigale v2?
Why would somebody shut the ABS off?
Difference brutale and dragster. ?
MV Agusta ainda terei a brutale ou uma rush
