In the beginning of the story Rhong Zhi doesn’t want to go back to Wei after he faked his death when Chuyu rejected him but he was given a pill that made changed his mind and forgot about Chuyu and Chuyu forgot about him too until the time that they met again and fell in love once again.
Actually, it's a completely different story that the storyteller started in episode 17. He used the same characters but it all happened in Wei instead of Song.
This is a rare and wonderful drama story about women, their emotions, struggles, ambition, wins and losses. We see a 'virtuous' woman like Xueyun who changes into a pitiful and jealous mistress, we see women winning and losing through scheming (the Empress Dowager and Consort), and we see brave women who are also in a dilemma choosing between her country and her love (Feifeng General), and we also see women who are true to themselves like Chuyu and Qingxue, who survive until the end of the story. Great story, and well done to all the scriptwriters and actors. Well written and well played!!!

I really appreciate the person in charge of costumes..they were so beautiful 😍 👏👏....the ending was unexpected but the actors did a great job. 👍 it was like Giants and legends gathering in one place. Although I would've loved the first segment to continue...overall it's a nice drama

In every episode of the drama, there's no way you can't feel angry,annoyed and confused to the point that you wanted to drop the drama but ironically, these are also giving you the interest to watch more and see the reslult and they did a good job on that because you can not really guest what happen will happen next. Though the story line is sometimes distorted and confusing, it aroused your curuiosity and you'll end up watching the drama till the end.. Thank you for uploading this drama. This drama is good if you're really into something unique.

The first half of this drama was dragging,but i managed to finish it because RZ is handsome lols....I just wished that RZ and Chuyu had at least one kissing scene on the lips,but at least they had a happy ending which is satisfying.
The reason why it dudn't happened was bcuz Song Wei Long was underage during this drama.he only got 2 dramas during his early teen.this drama and Long For U
I literally started with the second story cuz that matches my type and I honestly enjoyed it throughout. Mainly the character arcs, the twists and turns...it was just too complex and amazing at the same time! The only character endings that made me sad is of General Huo Xuan and her deputy General Wang Ze. They practically died for nothing but got driven by foolishness of emotions. They definitely protected the ones they needed to before dying but their ending wasn't as grand a soldiers like them should deserve. And pls I needed a scene of Shen Yu and Qingyue at the end like Rhongzi and Chuyu 😭💜 I got seriously fond of them and loved Lanruo too, too bad that side characters like them don't get proper end scene 😭😭😭
Ok have watched this from EP 1. Awesome cast. Seen many of these talented actors in ather series and was thrilled. It was a slow progression, at times nail bitting...great story, puzzling ending!? What was odd is that we already had the protagonist's at the beginning but so meny actors were thrown in to this story. So it was hard to just stay with the two characters, since all were given a story. Oddly enough their ending was tragic. I just don't know what to make of it? That said, magnificent production, great costumes, wonderful sceneries and a great cast that deserved a better story at the end.🤷🤭😍🥰❤️
U see when I was watching from the beginning till ep 17 it was great, when start to watch from ep 18 I get . Wow the author killed all the major players, such waste of talents. Made the emperor paranoid and drunk with power. The empress dowager crazy and the greatest schemer . The only good in this story is the happy ending making the Regent the most wise person for choosing a peaceful life.

The actor playing Rongzhi is Song Weilong. He was only 17 when he filmed this. If you like him, do watch his other works such as Go Ahead, Find Yourself, The Bionic Life, and The League of Nobleman, which are pretty good dramas.

RZ was 19 years old when acted in this drama. CY was 21 years old. General Huo was 24 years old. Shen Yu 23 years old. Concubine Ma 20 years old. All of them were so young then. I can say all of them acted very well although they were young then.
A great movie! The actors and actresses perfected their characters/role with excellence displaying a Little comical and playfulness as many clawing , strife for high position and power. I like how true love still was evidenced during a time of war. Its Admiral how the respect and dedication was portrayed between the Prince Regent and Generals during on and of the battlefield of war and the couples had a little more physical bonding. The set was creatively done and all wardrobes was beautifully designed, love it, compliment to the seamstress. The hair decorations and jewelry pieces needs to be on the market if it aint already.The court yards, bridges, water and builders great craftsmanship nice details. Scenery lovely. The writers, the directors, producers, stage hands cameramen or camerawomen, stump doubles and fighting Acts was supremely done. I just love to see the Kung fu or karate flying scenes. Only the Asian countries can make this scenes look so easy but to achieve those scenes i believe was very hard work. Kutos to all of you who have worked on this movie. I enjoyed it immensely. My hat off ro each of you. Much appreciated!!! Am looking forward to seeing the actors whp played Prince Regent and Princess Regent consort others movies. Yes i agree, i can watch a next season of this movie. Hope this movie gets many views and likes because deserve it.
This ending is better than the first story. At least they were both alive and still together. Their romantic scenes were pretty decent which is understandable but it was still cute and lovely. Rong Zhi’s talent was put to waste but its better for them to leave a simple life. I was pissed at some scenes but i enjoyed watching this drama. It was a a good story and there are lines that hit hard,The cast portrayed their characters amazingly,the leads have a great chemistry and their costumes were superb.

A great movie! finished watching in 9 days. Didn't realized that there were two story line till I read one of the viewers comments. 比他帅的演员多的是，演技一般，看到后面有点乏味
非常同意。除了帅他的眼神戏也很出色。原著中的容止本就没什么表情，所有的情绪都得用眼神戏来表达。才17、8岁的宋威龙却演出了容止的深藏不露和腹黑。

Wow the author killed all the major players, such waste of talents. Made the emperor paranoid and drunk with power. The empress dowager crazy and the greatest schemer . The only good in this story is the happy ending making the Regent the most wise person for choosing a peaceful life.

Just finished watching this drama & loved it ❤ The characters of Rong Zhi & Chuyu were well played. First time for me watching all the actors in this drama. I will look up their names in other dramas, especially Rong Zhi.

The actor playing Rongzhi is Song Weilong. He was only 17 when he filmed this. If you like him, do watch his other works such as Go Ahead, Find Yourself, The Bionic Life, and The League of Nobleman, which are pretty good dramas.

RZ was 19 years old when acted in this drama. CY was 21 years old. General Huo was 24 years old. Shen Yu 23 years old. Concubine Ma 20 years old. All of them were so young then. I can say all of them acted very well although they were young then.

A great movie! The actors and actresses perfected their characters/role with excellence displaying a Little comical and playfulness as many clawing , strife for high position and power. I like how true love still was evidenced during a time of war. Its Admiral how the respect and dedication was portrayed between the Prince Regent and Generals during on and of the battlefield of war and the couples had a little more physical bonding. The set was creatively done and all wardrobes was beautifully designed, love it, compliment to the seamstress. The hair decorations and jewelry pieces needs to be on the market if it aint already.The court yards, bridges, water and builders great craftsmanship nice details. Scenery lovely. The writers, the directors, producers, stage hands cameramen or camerawomen, stump doubles and fighting Acts was supremely done. I just love to see the Kung fu or karate flying scenes. Only the Asian countries can make this scenes look so easy but to achieve those scenes i believe was very hard work. Kutos to all of you who have worked on this movie. I enjoyed it immensely. My hat off ro each of you. Much appreciated!!! Am looking forward to seeing the actors whp played Prince Regent and Princess Regent consort others movies. Yes i agree, i can watch a next season of this movie. Hope this movie gets many views and likes because deserve it.

This ending is better than the first story. At least they were both alive and still together. Their romantic scenes were pretty decent which is understandable but it was still cute and lovely. Rong Zhi’s talent was put to waste but its better for them to leave a simple life.
I was pissed at some scenes but i enjoyed watching this drama. It was a a good story and there are lines that hit hard,The cast portrayed their characters amazingly,the leads have a great chemistry and their costumes were superb.

I loved this drama, and I appreciated the ending. The only thing I regret is the abscence of kissing scene for Chuyu and Rong Zhi

A great movie! finished watching in 9 days. Didn't realized that there were two story line till I read one of the viewers comments. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode where the General and the Princess had their competition. The costumes on the Princess were very elegant and beautiful. Thank you for the English subs.
