They're still out there, few and far between. Xenoblade Chronicles is probably the last RPG I felt really invested in. Actually, scratch that. Persona 5 was pretty amazing too. But I can say with confidence that out of the many, many RPGs I've played, not one of them replicated the feeling of grandeur, adventure and wonder in quite the same way that Grandia 1 did.

@sonickun95 Lucky you. My boss ended up getting my old PSP stolen for the holidays, so I had to buy the God Of War special PSP pack and re-download my digital version. Good thing I didn't have to pay for it again, but for crying out loud, I put in like 55 Hrs in that game!! God forbid i find the punk that jacked me. GOD FORBID.... I 'm still hot about it.

jake dalzell The Saturn version is actually better too, but Japanese only. lol @ that incredible 1fps zoom in to Parm at the start of the PS1 version, and the visible polygon seams showing you where all the hidden doors are
zzy4680 You can get this game and the museum on the GOAT store last I checked. Even if you don't know the language the museum ought to be worth checking out.
@TheHikariOne rly? I bought Grandia for the PSX here in sweden in a local gamestop that were technically throwing out GC, PS2, XBOX and PSX games, they had Grandia for 10sek wich is about $1 :D
I'm glad I downloaded this baby from PSN, man.. only $10 as opposed to the upwards of $150 for a literal copy is a great deal! XD .the only gripe I've got with Grandia now is its laughable cutscene voice acting, but this is up there with FF7 for sure. It was SUPPOSED to be my first RPG, but Breath of Fire 3 turned up being that somehow.

Playing the HD remaster on Switch right now, and somehow this theme just doesn't get boring even after hearing it hundreds of times.
For such an overall lighthearted adventure this battle theme really goes hard.

the final boss in this game was a joke so easy but either way this was 1 of the most epic games ive ever played=D

I agree completely. This is a fantastic song. It brings out that will to fight, especially in the caves with the orcs. I hated them....
