You can still see the pain, particularly the father. RIP boys.
yeah but that confederate hat keeps him secure
seeing that 15 year old boy with no fear in his eyes knowing he was gone saying look at me this is what aids dose to you is as heart breaking today as it was when i was a kid watching it on tv
It’s so heart breaking. I have 3 boys in that age range. He just seemed so calm. 😢😢😢
When we were kids(late 80’s early 90’s) my Mom donated blood 🩸 at a local High School 🏫, in the upper class part of the county at that, and they had to toss the majority of the donations because they were HIV positive. Think about it, if you knew you were hiv+ you more than likely would not donate blood to a blood drive… That is a scary thought! My Condolences 💐, Thoughts and Prayers will always be with this family and all lost to this horrific illness!
Your mom had aids?
Rest on, brothers. I felt so bad for them, brothers, and the entire family. God bless your soul.
In the late 80's my gpa (preacher) had a sticker on his van bumper stating, "AIDS is killing all the right people."
In the 90's I challenged his motto by scraping it off with a razor from my father's store. Later I donated time at an AIDS ward in direct conflict with his hate and bigotry. Those wonderful men taught me patience, unconditional love and kindness I will never forget. Charlie and the gang, I miss you. Thanks for the love.
In my opinion: Seems you don't know what sin is or what it does. That's why we have to be righteous. Evil does what it does no matter who forgives it so it has to be condemned. That's the biggest failure most Sunday Christians do. They think forgiveness would mean that it's OK to tolerate others who intentionally sin because they themselves would be sinners. Sin has to be cast out before some innocent person gets hurt.
My sympathies goes out to the victims of adultery, sodomy & fornication but the people who have been initially infected through their self gratifying lust do not deserve to live. Because nobody has a right to live. Life is granted in the given moment for death is always certain & nobody gets out of this life alive.
These would be sins only G-d could forgive, if there were to be forgiveness.
But your preacher probably didn't think about transfusions because that would be more of a malfeasance issue with healthcare for allowing it in the first place. Like seriously, what the heck!
@@opinionsvary Aw, you think your opinion of me matters?! That's cute! Adorable even... let me count the ways I do not care what you think. Backpfeifengesicht is a personal issue only you can address within yourself. I have no interest in such a hateful being.

@@opinionsvary Could you swallow your Bible? I’m not quoting the Quran all the time like religion rules life.
Appalachian girl, you’re awesome. Don’t let h@tred and downright ignorance in disguise ever tell you otherwise.
What kind of Evil SOB could burn their house down. I hope they reaped what they sowed
It’s because they were swimming in peace river.. other locals thought you could catch it that way! Hiv was super scary back then
@@jimmystrickland1034 yeah, I remember. I was a kid in the 80’s.
God bless this family...this so inspirational story.....They are such a strong family
This is the most incredible story. Usually I have something to say about every situation. I am totally speechless. The strength of this family is amazing. After all their pain and sorrow, losing two beautiful boys they found a straight and courage to give their best to the family and world. God bless them and family forever.
And Randy's father tried to kill himself in 2000 from the grief (after Robert D died), but thankfully was unsuccessful.
Rest in peace Randy you are a legend friend
Was it aid’s related. He seems like a drug user honestly. Or did he have a widow maker?
Horrific
Beautiful family❤️🙏🏼❤️
Rip boys fly high💕🕊
Randy died just this week..
Heart attack or stroke?
💔 Heartbreaking for the boys😥 PRAISE GOD for their Amazing Faith. God bless us all🙏
I remember Ryan white 🤍 rip
This is so sad
What a brave, wonderful family. They have lost so much, yet have pushed on with grace...GOD is with them.
And yet god couldn't cure their AIDS
Much like Ryan White.
And Sarasota? Kimberly Mays case.... yikes.
A lot of people are too young to even know who Ryan White is though. I didn't even know about this until it showed up in my recommended videos. RIP Ricky, Robert, and now Randy.
Yes they got aids the same way Ryan white did. Through th plasma used to clot their blood.
RIP Ray boys.
I can't imagine the pain and suffering and intolerance the Rays had to go through because of their son's illnesses, and now they have lost all 3 of them. The Rays seem like such a nice loving family who believe in equality and justice for everyone. However, I noticed from the 80s footage that the father had a few different Confederate Flag baseball caps and would wear them in public within being criticized. He also seems like a very kind man who would never have any of those hateful thoughts against certain groups of people. Did the Confederate Flag have a different meaning back in the 80s, or was it just as controversial as it is today? If anyone who grew up in or lived in the south in the 80s can tell me about it, please reply to my comment when you get a chance.
God Bless the Ray Family.
They were a pretty right wing, Christian fundamentalist family in the south back then. The symbol didn't have a different meaning. But their community still ostracized them when their three sons tried to attend school after learning they had HIV. The family seems to have changed over the years in terms of their beliefs towards others.
😥
Wow that's amazing story God has away to help people like this
But god couldn't cure AIDS?
😭😭😭😭Rip
Disgusting way to treat the family. You knew how it was passed even in the lates 80s....
Forgiveness is what it's all about you have to forgive sometimes it's hard but you have to that's the way Jesus would want it you have to keep your faith in Jesus it's sad when you lose your children I've never been there but I can imagine I know people that have and I'll pray for the family that's left in Jesus name amen
ME 24 YEAR OLD WIDOW!! , HUSBAND DEAD DUE HOMOSEXUALS GIVE BLOOD FOR MONEY , DID NOT CARE , RUINED ME !!!!😰😭😢😡 EVERYONE LEFT ME EVERYONE ,,,
Horrifying how irresponsible the medical structure is.
It doesn’t make it any less heartbreaking or painful, but there just wasn’t the same level of screening or testing back then
It wasn’t an ultra-new disease, but it hadn’t been around for a super long time either
People knew that it wasn’t an airborne-based transmission but some parents still wouldn’t risk their kids being in the same school as those 3 boys… that’s a level of fear that goes beyond just “stay away from those three in case they get a cut or scrape” which even then is a little overkill

@@TheMulToyVerse Also with the Olympic champion Greg Louganis. He cut himself on the dive board, and bled into the pool. Since he was HIV positive, there was concern. Everything was new. It was natural.
They're not screening to exclude hiv anymore from the blood supply, or preventing the mRNA vaxInjected either.
She reconnected ? Liars. Why didn't she KIT?
😇😇😇❤❤❤
😭
Where did aids even come from
A great question to ask Anthony Fauci.
They had said it came from people in Africa eating green monkeys. It first affected gay men, then drug users, and everyone else.
@@libbiparkerlott8763 Indeed.
Even I know better than that you don’t need a phd to dismiss that theory ..
Monkeys some of the first sampling of genetics being altered to be transfusable between animals and people an they have been doing it since the 50's 60's AIDS was intended to be distributed amongst the gay community and African-American community by you guessed it the government's Democrats .
I see pops had a point to prove with those hats
Arcadia is a rodeo town guy. Well was back then, now it’s lil mexico
Why is so much about aids coming out
Because they are setting up for the next play.

A circle back to the AIDS pandemic and now the Covid pandemic, common denominator, Fauci
Anniversaries, it’s been near 40 years since it started
