I wore these today for the first time. Wet wading a wild trout stream. The were outstanding. Little to no debris got in the shoe, and I was in some sandy areas at times. Super light weight, with excellent grip on rocks and down trees. Two thumbs up

But does it keep rocks out of your shoes when wet wading without waders. The Orvis wet wading shoes do an excellent job at that!

Crocs allow sand and gravel in if you’re in a river. That is no fun. Plus this sole is much more capable of keeping you upright in a river. It’s not cheap, but what is these days?
