Yours is the second video I’ve seen where the deepest highlighter fell out and I have (only) watched 3.

I saw someone who needed to glue in the lightest shade back in. Quality of glue is a thing, I suppose.

Same. Natasha has a thing for monochrome shades and so many shades are so similar that I wish she kept the pops of teal. I’m just not that discerning that I notice a big difference when I apply certain shades to my eyes. The main reason I purchased this palette is because I’ve been trying to dupe my Tom Ford Coco mirage quad that has been slowly disappearing and it’s been harder than I thought. I also appreciate that Natasha pushes the envelope when it comes to formula.

@@charlotteg4993 to me it’s like the colours some metals go when they tarnish. There’s nothing gold about brown either but you need complimentary colours to make a look, otherwise it’s all a bit one-note.

I use the INAN, but the mattes aren’t my best tones either. The Golden palette shades are better for me, too!

I agree with you I miss the green/teal shades from the 1st pallet. It made it basic but with a little uniqueness. The new pallet is pretty but not very exciting to me

Rebecca you deserve an A+ for your effort, trying to make this collection as versatile as a monotone color story could possibly get. This is a skip for me, perhaps if she’d included a couple vivid jewel tones that compliment the golds and would’ve doubled as gorgeous eyeliners then this could have been a great one for my medium deep skin tone
I miss the jewel tones too!
On a side note, the Supergoop tint is featured in this week's People magazine. I was flipping through it in the checkout aisle, saw it & was like, "That's the one that made Rebecca break out!"😱😱😂

I need a warm is coming. Not kidding.
At first, I thought the new ND Golden palette was too one-note gold. But after looking at it several times in Sephora, I've decided that the sparkly shades ("Nubia", "Cava", "Fizzy", etc) are really nuanced. It would be a great complement to the I Need a Nude palette, especially during the holiday season.
I used it for about the eighth time today and I’m really enjoying it more and more each time. I would say that you have the correct conclusion here

Haha! Throwing shade. 😅 Well you’re not the only one with that highlight palette that needs to glue that shade back in. Have seen several reviews that had that shade fall out.
The Golden palette is a nice relatively Monotone palette. If I didn’t already own the Original Gold palette I would be tempted to purchase this one. The original palette has a shade that I really love. Lime Chrome. It’s beautiful. Python is good to use as a liner. And Aurora is good for a pop of color. My palette still is working fine and hasn’t seemed to deteriorate as of this date.
The mini Glam Palette has a shade named Golden Flesh. I don’t see the shade Flesh in the others except for the Star Palette. I checked the two Large palettes (the ones in the OG white packaging) and they don’t have the shade Flesh.
I gave the pastel palette to my niece (those colors were not flattering for me) and I didn’t buy the “Circo Loco” palette. It was just way too much color wise for me. So not sure if Flesh was in those, but I don’t think it was.
Final thoughts… Well if this palette goes on sale….I’ll probably get it 😂. It’s the hoarder in me 😉

I've come to realize that the thing I loved about the Gold palette is that I could get grungy-gold looks, and I almost always incorporated one of the teal shades. I have the Metropolis palette and I'm realizing that it's perfect for me for what I like and how I do my eye looks. really appreciate the review!

I’m not sure about this pallet but I love what you did with the lips 🤣made me laugh but I’ve seen that people are complaining about them falling out of the pallet so I’ll skip as for the price it shouldn’t do that. You are so honest and funny keep up the great work 👍

I ordered the highlighter palette and it showed up with 1 pan falling out. Called Sephora they sent me a replacement, that one had 2 pans falling out and the third one was shattered. I also watched Alicia Archers video and she had a pan fall out too. I don’t know if this is a CQ issue with the glue or it needing better packaging to keep it in but for $55 this is unacceptable to me. I just asked for a refund at this point.
I also ordered the golden palette and am super pleased with it. I do have the OG gold palette but I never travel with it because I was too scared for it to break and not be able to get it replaced. I’m very happy to have a smaller version that can fit in my makeup bag. I never used the teals personally so the revised version is much more practical for me. Lastly, I have the bronze pallet but always felt like it was too orange/red leaning for year round use but great for the summer. I much prefer the tones in the golden and think I will get a ton of use out of this, I think this will pair nicely with yucca too.
Totally agree with you. That bronze pallet is so warm. There is such a thing as too warm ha ha. I can’t believe that you exchanged it and then two fell out. That’s terrible. They won’t exchange for me. If I call them and tell them that something is shattered they tell me that they exchange something for me a year ago and therefore they accommodated me before. Do not even get me started on their customer service

The collection looks lovely on you Rebecca. It’s a personal miss for me i have so many similar tones/colours that i just don’t use however it’s a beautiful palette for all those that enjoy warm tones. 🙂

I never bought the original ND Gold palette. The teals were Beautiful in the pans but I’d never have used them and it was a $129 palette. I didn’t plan to buy any eyeshadow palettes this year because I’m drowning in them-but I’m pretty fair and if this has a matte bone shade-I’ll buy it because it looks like it’ll be a one-and-done palette for me. I’m working in the office more and have been rotating 2 of her mini palettes *and have to pair them with my Tartelette in Bloom because of the matte bone shadow in it. So annoying 😂 I wish I could buy it as a single. It’s the only PERFECT tone/shade for my brow and “highlighting” my inner eyelids because they’re hooded. Can’t find anything exactly like it. I really miss the teals. I never owned the original gold palette because I couldn't afford it at the time. And I really wish she had come out with a midi version of the original as is, instead of making it more golden, which wasn't really needed because she has like 3 other neutral Palettes just like this

I used to have the gold palette I sold it. Then I had regrets. When she just came out with the promo. Video a couple days ago and it started off, showing the gold palette with the greens. I kinda thought maybe for a split second, this new one was gonna have green. That maybe, all the pictures I've seen over the last week or so were wrong. So yeah I am disappointed that it doesn't have those pops😢

Teals look awful on my eyes and so I am happy that this is now a true warm neutral palette. I mainly want to be able to mix with the I need a nude to get custom palettes for travel.

I just got mine today!! Oh my gosh I’m so in love! I needed a gold palette (I own the OG) but I don’t miss the teal! I enjoyed specially the fact that the shades are warm but not “orangey” if that makes sense. I feel this is one of the best ones yet!!! Love love love!

You are my favorite RUclips beauty expert! You tell the truth, and that’s appreciated! I didn’t get into this brand until about a year and a half ago-even if the gold palette was still available for purchase, by the time I had a real desire to purchase it, it was gone forever, and I don’t want to buy an aged product from someone on eBay or wherever. My palette should be here today! Laura Geller did a gold topper gloss called City Lights - I loved it but even so not sure I’ll have a need for the gloss (or the highlighter-LG’s were huge and I’m still using them)!!!

Cool toned Army member here so passing but pretty for summer. I have many pallette with these colors. Not liking the hilites.. they look glittery and at my age there's so many that don't sit on top of skin and meld into texture ect. Powder and cream. That lip plumper looks like it really works though. My favorite ND pallette is I need a nude..I have glam one as well. Thanks so much Rebecca

Yours is the second time I've seen a highlighter color fall out from this collection. Here's the thing: I tried my original Gold palette last week and it still gives beautiful looks. Plus I like the teals, and those colors are almost impossible to find. I've seen several formula comparisons between the two eye palettes, and some of the formulas in the old palette are better. If I had never gotten the Gold Palette, this new one would be great. But there are 15 colors in the new eye palette, and every eye look will look pretty much the same. Plus the highlighter colors are wrong for me and that palette is faulty. So for now, this whole collection is a pass. Thanks for the video!💚
Hello Deborah! I felt like the older shades performed better in swatches, too, but can't commit to saying that as they're about six years old and ya never know.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Maybe. I have powder eye palettes that are over 15 years old and still going strong. If I shared my makeup, that might be an issue. But I don't. Plus those babies are packed with preservatives. God bless them every one.

Hi Rebecca. Great review on these. I have the original Gold palette. Bought it the day it came out, 6 years ago now. I love the pop of teals, and those greenish golds, plus that matte mustard shade. The palette has had much love, and still picks up,and blends well. My favorite palette Also, that Gold palette has been on many airplane flights, and on 3 cruises. Plus road trips. But once I cheated and took a Mothership traveling.. (I know) lol. I love the glam up look. That’s just me. I love ND eyeshadows. I’ll probably skip on this new Gold palette, since it has many of the same shades that are in the original. But, maybe I’ll pick it up much later. However, I think I will pick up that highlighter palette. Would work on the eyes, and also on the body, shoulders, décolleté etc
Honestly, Janice, I think that highlight palette is THE star of the new trio. That Gold palette must have been crying itself to sleep when you chose PML for that one trip!

Rebecca, I know you are an editor -much respect to you!-and not an influencer…. However, you may have inadvertently influenced me to purchase the highlighter palette!!❤. I’m waiting for my eye palette but now I’m intrigued by this trio! I’m 51- I don’t have a lot of wrinkles BUT will it be too much over a few fine lines or say will it enhance pores (yikes?). Give me your perspective on that for us aging beauties out there

This one can get a bit same as well but, you are absolutely correct. Less same than bronze.

I really think for me this was a better version color wise. The teals were very pretty, but it created a more intense look. I think these are great for a lighter look with maybe only one or two shades. Today is the first day I played with the palette, but I really like it so far. I do think there isn’t a lot of versatility. But I’m sure I will get a lot of use out of it. Do you have any idea when I Need a Warm is coming????

I got this palette. It should arrive today. I pulled out my Gold palette and one shadow fell out of the pan, and when I used it, some shades were dry and didn’t pick up pigment, plus I always hated the packaging. So I think the new Golden might do it for me.

My Gold is old at this point, but I still use it a lot and it is still performing very well. I love, love, love the mattes. To get these tones with some updates shimmers sounds perfect.
I’m not racing to get it ASAP because I do have Gold, but I will pick it up because I do love these tones.
I like the teals in Gold, but I honestly don’t use them much when I use the palette. I’m okay with them not being in Golden. I do use the sparkly Brass and Lime Chrome which are not in Golden because they are gold but lean green. I also love Sparks which didn’t make it in Golden either. But I’m excited to have her new shiny/ metallic formulas to play with in these tones!
This is the second Golden video I’ve seen and 2 highlighter shades fell out in the other one. Yikes!
These highlighters are giving the side eye and throwing shade ALL OVER You Tube apparently!!! hahaha. And, yes, do not race to get. Sales are coming FOR SURE. Plus we need to save up for hair gadgets.

Me too. As a light super cool-tone person (cool eyes, hair & skin) any gold or yellow tones look hidedous! But I'm happy for everyone else 🤍

I'm not mad the repeated shades from the gold pallette they've been open about it. It's a different format and in that more affordable midi size

I think the teal shades made the Gold palette unique and also, the black background helped make the shades stand out. I love ND’s formula but for me, this is just meh. If she was going to redo the Gold palette and present it like this, she should have done it back in 2018. I feel like that’s when the Gold color stories were trending. UD released their honey palette and Colourpop released a gold palette too. I have at least 3 gold palette’s that I can think of off the top of my head. I just feel like she’s late with this. I would have jumped on this back in 2018 but now, I have so many palettes and this just doesn’t scream special/different/unique to me for my collection. It’s nice and I can understand how this is perfect for some people, just not me.

Very pretty but nothing I don’t already have. I probably would have grabbed it had it had the teal and green. I have 2 highlighters which I rarely use. Therefore the highlighter is a pass. Rebecca, guess who bought the original Gold Palette on eBay at Christmas? That being said, I see these as two distinct palettes. I've seen swatches of the shades from both palettes and the formula is different. The shades will stand out more on the lids when an Intensifeyes or a glitter glue is used. What I find lacking from the new Golden Palette is more intense gold shades. I would have loved a deeper yellow-gold shade that truly stands out. A rose-gold shade would be nice, just more emphasis on the gold and less on the browns. As I have paler skin than yours and would be using something to anchor the shades, they may appear more golden on myself. I won't know until it arrives. It's not even available here yet, so I grabbed one that was cheaper than at Sephora, which includes shipping from Natasha Denona. Our Sephora has had huge price increases which has left ND Online cheaper than her palettes from Sephora which has free delivery, whilst ND charges AU$15.00. I don't know why, probably hoping to save, but I left the Highlighter Trio behind and so regret it! Seeing it on your lips and how beautifully golden your first cheek appears makes me want it even more. Using it on the eyes looks divine too. I've never ordered from ND Online before due to the $15.00 shipping, yet it was the only way to get it and the cheapest. As much as I love the teal shades in the Gold Palette, I didn't want them in the Golden Palette. I wanted it to be different and stand alone in its own right. Anyone who has Zendo, will have teal in that in her formula. We're having our EOFY Sales at present and Zendo, a palette I haven't purchased has been reduced by 50%, but I don't need it and it didn't appeal to me as much as the others. Even the 28-pan Purple-Blue is 50% off! I already have that one. I've got about 30 of her palettes now and not a single one is a 5-pan! There are two others I'm hoping to get, yet that's another story. Hey, what's another palette to add to a collection so big that it is sinking ships across the Seven Seas! Looking forward to Golden Palette and hope to grab the Highlighter Trio too when it finally comes here.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨

I'm always scouring the market place, so now that I know you didn't manage to get it, I'll keep my eyes out. I'd be on cloud nine if I managed to get the Green-Brown myself, yet not to be - yet!
I don't think we will ever see a big size soon. The market has decided that around 65-70 for 15 but smaller pans is a sweatspot. Bigger isn't needed with all the releases I only own Biba in the big size and still feel sad that I skipped Safari for the price. Maybe she can do a new version of that one as well. The highlighter (2 out of 3 are too deep) and gloss are a skip but the eyeshadow I think will be stunning with my bluegray eyes to pop the blue in it. It reminds me of Naked Honey that I like, but I don't think it are dupes but just a vibe. I prefer Natasha over Urban Decay in formula.

So Rebecca the gold lip gloss is always the thing that attracts me, and usually, doesn’t work as I think in my head… this appears to be the case. Regarding the palettes, the eyeshadow has been a no for me all along, not because there aren’t beautiful shades but because they’re all too similar. I definitely would have liked the teal and possibly in place of middle gold range, more blingy brownish tone for a bit more contrast options. Noe the highlighter, really looks pretty, actually was thinking about it vs eyeshadow palette but price is so close to eyeshadow palette, kinda of struggle with that. It’s not to say it’s not they don’t give you some value as there seems to be a decent amount of product. But I’m thinking if it was a bit smaller, a bit less, because I truly don’t think I’d use that much even with use on the eyes as well as a highlighter. Can’t imagine that I’d grab it that much. Package is my fav as it’s got design but doesn’t interfere with storing it. End result, pass.
I find with most of her midi palettes it's all the same look! And they're always loaded with mid tone shimmers that look the same on the eye. And only one really deep shade. I end up using the same amount of shades as a mini palette... So I agree with you. 🤍

gr8 review and demo as always but I am so disappointed with Natasha Deanna...I didn't like the old gold palette that much but the new one is much worse. I believe when someone names a palette the Gold palette it should be exactly that...a palette with all the gold shades one would ever need.
And there really IS a lot you can do with differing shades of gold. I see your point.

I'm not really a fan of palettes that are one note. I like some different colors and shades added for contrast (like the teals). Palettes with variation (Yucca) are more up my alley.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Give it a go! It is far less drying than the Pat Mcgrath, and more blurring than the prism libre. I put some on a big puff, bang it on my palm like 10 times, and then apply. Comes out lovely
I’m missing the teal and greenish golds. It appears that she replaced those shades with lighter beige gold shades and the new shades are also another light form of beige golds. What made the OG Gold palette amazing was the variety with color depth and texture. Just like her last few palettes with the new formula, they are all much lighter in tone and not really for deeper complexions, this one especially. The OG Gold may have looked like a bunch of gold shades but once applied, it was magical. I really can’t say that about this version or her last few palettes. Her palettes were more playful and innovative and now they just seem to be geared to a market that isn’t interested in playing with her shades and creative something stunning. That is what I have long loved about ND palettes is she could make what seems like a boring palette like OG Gold or the Bronze palette be used as a one and done AND a eyelid masterpiece created with little effort and didn’t require extensive skills or time. These just don’t have the same effect and I hope her next few palette launches aren’t leaked and give those of us who love the magic of her artistry something to sink our teeth into, but this is a hard pass for me, unfortunately.

I started thinking that, as her audience grew, and as the potential for even BIGGER sales grew, I wonder if that is when she started to play it safer, you know? Like "don't take that chance, there's a huge market share out there that we didn't even realize would be interested but they are. Be careful." Don't ya think?

but their approaches are quite similar. Once they grew larger, they became less innovative to attract an audience that may not have been interested in them when were truly delivering outstanding products. The new demographics is getting underwhelming yet they have no idea what they really
missed! The shades in this Golden palette are all so similar, there isn’t really a need to apply shadows with the blue print ND created where a row ( vertical, horizontal, or diagonal) and quads easily put together when everything is almost exactly the same shade. I get that one and done looks are popular but not at this price plus she already did that with her recent face palette.
It is certainly not an awful palette but it’s just meh ☺️

This palette is not for me, I don’t like gold and silver eyeshadows but love the mattes. I think she is long overdue for a matte palette.

As a formality I waited for your swatches because you are the Rembrandt of swatches but for me this is her most boring palette ever. These shades may be fab for warm tone lovers but I find they give a sallow jaundiced look. Is that too strong an impression🤷🏼♀️
