I was never a bedtime fragrance kind of girl but now I love spraying on Musamam White Intense then. Sandalwood is so calming.
I could not agree more. Right after shower before bed, Musamam is so beautiful on warm skin. I wish we could have some more sandalwood perfume like the Kayali Wedding one. So beautiful ❤
@@SiminShaikh I can tell you I found a similar sandalwood in a tiny gift bottle of "Tainted Love" by Tokyo Milk Dark. I prefer MWI but it's not bad.

I agree that Qissa Delicious is a fantastic fragrance even though it is more intimate. My husband loves it he says it smells amazing. I can see where you are going with the orange cream biscuit feel to this. Also, Tetley tea did cookies and cream limited tea that, while steeping it reminds me of this fragrance. 😂 I love gourmand scents, so I am all for it.

It's so good! It has this soft talcum note in the background which is very faint and I think that keeps it going for longer hours. Irida is stunning! But the longevity is a joke lol. Cherry is my current love ❤ Blooming Bliss was just so unexpectedly good. I was not expecting much from that line lol ❤

Although when I got my first decant I thought it was too masculine, but I let it sit for a few weeks and now it’s blossomed so beautifully. And it layers so nicely with other fragrances.

Simin, I made my first purchase and I bought Musamam White Intense with your recommendation. I am really enjoying it. Usually I don't like coconut perfumes but this one is more citrus and creamy. It is so well blended. I just ordered samples of Tharwah Gold and I really want to try L'or Noir. I am looking for something for everyday because date night never happens.

Hey my beautiful hun, I got Armaf Club De Nuit on a super sale here in Oz from a reputable seller, it is an easy to wear scent. I have gravitated towards this when I feel like wearing peach and fresh florals, I like it, but it is one of my top ten, but it always gets compliments and Gerry loves this on me. I love how you show the perfume name and notes, you do such a wonderful job, you really do. Love you so much, my angel. I love that you left the old rating there as it shows we do change our taste in perfumes and how they improve, love Modest Deux. I wish I could get Lamsat Harir, sadly only the perfume oil seems to be available here or it is fairly expensive. I love the choicest and I am tempted to get a few but I can resist the temptation as I feel I have so many I reach for often. I am living vicariously 😅 watching your incredible reviews and staying strong for now 🙂.

I love Modest Deux but it will shine much more as a night and romantic perfume. I also realize that this does not project much on me but lasts quite long. Then, I'll swap Haya with Mayar. Since I bought decants of them together, I see them as cousins and I prefer Mayar's scent more. But, I still agree with Haya being an easy reach.
What I'll add is I Am the Queen. I bought a decant to test as a wedding guest perfume. Although I ended up wearing Mystic Bouquet for that occasion, I still like I Am the Queen for no special occasions or as an office scent.
Anyways, because of your color palette today, you look like a bride. ❤

I much prefer Haya coz you know that green note bothers me in Mayar. I do feel like wearing Mayar when I go to the pool (rarely).

I have a dupe for Si Passione although I never smelled the original but this is what I saw recommended. It's called La Rive In Woman Red and I really like it.

Musamam White has a (green) tea scent to me.
Update: I’ve sprayed it multiple times and let it macerate. After a few months that tea scent (which I don’t care for) seems to have lessened. I’ll give this more time in the hopes that that part of the scent blends into the background.
Interesting! There is something off-putting (bitter?) in my decant. I may stash it away and try again in a few months.

Don't worry, it will blend soon. I did not mind the bitter green bergamot and slight tea scent which was present in the first two months of using it. But now it is getting creamier by the day. The coconut has become the star of the show ❤

CDN for Women is one of my favorite perfumes!! I have a ton and it is the first one I thought of when you said what the video was about. 2nd one I thought of was Midnight Flowerbomb by Victor and Rolf (even though its designer, its beautiful and it absolutely fits!!) ❤

I get tharwah gold on your recommendation. Next is haya. Do you recommend any lattafa perfume with woody notes best in summer beside Ameer. Suitable for women's. I have club di nuit but didn't like it my sister finished it 😅. I never seen perfume with that much longevity as CDN, it's so strong stay on clothing for days.
I wish qissa was stronger bc it smells so gooood! After 30 min I can’t even smell it on me 😢 if it had longevity it would be a 10/10

hello Simin. i got a sample of modwst deux through your channel. but never was really sure if it was full bottle worthy. illogically enough tho, j bought this perfume from zimaya. it is called hawwa red and i thought it had a striking resemblance. in my nose, modest deux has a more citrus ppening and months in, i finally am able to detect the chocolate. hawwa red is lest zesty. and the drydown is more dark. i really can imagine a dipr perfume smelling like this. fruity but elegant and sexy and not too sweet. ill see how this matures as it hasnt been a week

You should organize your fragrances by rating. 10/10 on a shelf. 9.5/10 on another, then 9/10 on the next and so on.

Lattafa Eclaire and Fragrance World Vanilla So Sweet are both very sweet ME perfumes. They are two of my go-tos (I also wear Cloud).
If Qissa Delicious is indeed like Sweet Tooth (as I have heard), then that is another sweet girly one.
Khurafi by Ard Al Zarfaran and Shamokhi by Fragrance World smell like Pink Sugar, Berries Weekend Pink by Fragrance World, Khair Fusion and Pistachio, Hayaati Rose

Dear Sam, you are an angel, your videos are the best ever, neverthenless, lately when you are describing scents you are not so much explaining the notes but comparing them to the other perfumes- that for me(and I'm sure not the only one) does not do anything because I do not know how those perfumes ,you are comparing them with, smells. Please go back to the old days when you where describing sents for what they are and not by comparisson with other perfumes. Thank you❤
I LOVE Musamam White Intense so much, but too late I realized that the note of Ambroxan gives me terrible headaches and I’ve been unable to wear Musamam White which makes me so sad😭 I’m hoping to somehow overcome the headaches. On a brighter note I also really like Lamsat Harir and Haya, both of which I bought on your recommendations ❤ Can’t wait to get my hands on Modest Deux, Blooming Bliss and Qissah Delicious 😍 I’d personally also wear Mohra Silky rose in all seasons I think haha

I heard Tharwah Gold was supposed to be a dupe Libre Intense. Because Libre Le Parfum has ginger and I find the lavender in it to be too weak.
I can't seem to find Blooming Bliss anywhere for sale to the US yet. I will wait impatiently, lol. The Cherry perfume is currently $40 on Amazon US, I hope it doesn't go higher!
Finally got Cherry last week after months of contemplating. I hoped to smell a cherry but not really. I'm struggling with this one, I get something sour and syrupy on my skin. It's also nuclear and stuck to my jacket even after I washed it. Maybe it's an acquired taste.🤷♀10/10 for performance though... only 2 sprays with this one.

Yea, they did the perfume wrong by naming it Cherry (They were thinking Cherie I suppose, but no one got it lol). Cherry is a proper Strawberry Lemon perfume with lots of weirdness. It is very close to Dior Miss Cherie. Babe, just try and let it rest for sometime. I think it will grow on you ❤

Oooooh I have just the one for you coz Crystal Noir is one of my absolute fav perfumes. The perfume is called Ameerat Al Ehsaas by Ard Al Zaafaran and it is not even very expensive. I hope you find it ❤ If you do plssss lemme know what you think my hun ❤
I live in the US and found it at Walmart for 1499 with shipping. It was offered cheaper on other websites, but I felt most comfortable ordering from Walmart. The smell in the bottle and when I first spray, it is a little bit spicier than VCN. However, once it dries down, it smells exactly the same. My only complaint is it doesn’t last as long however, for the price, I don’t mind reapplying, and where time may change as the perfume matures in the bottle.
I can’t find blooming bliss online. Do you know if we can get it in the states?

I got a decant of Musaman White and there is a note in it that just doesn't work for me. Celery? Cilantro? I am begining to think something is wrong with my nose since everyone else seems to adore it. I find the same thing with Liam.
It sounds like an issue many people have with the way they perceive sandalwood and it's in both.

You are not alone in this. There are people in the comment who also find it it either bitter green or detect a tea like scent. It was also quite green to my nose int he first month (although it did not bother me). Now it has become a creamy citrus coconut with a Balsam base. Liam is a spicy tea/ fig scent and will not change. It is unisex but leaning masculine ❤
Hey Sim❤how similar are Musamam White and Liam Grey?
Don’t know what Sim will say, but they are very different! To me Liam is rainy day creamy vanilla spiced tea, Musamam is bright fruity balsamic.

They are different to me but the DNA is the same. They both are Unisex, although Liam leans a little more masculine.
Musamam after 6 months of use has become a creamy citrus coconut with a Balsam base. Like a lotion almost. Liam is light, fig/tea/ spices Vanilla. The Fig and Spices are prominent in it.
So they are very very different. I would recommend going for the Musamam White first and then I you feel adventurous, go for Liam as well coz I do think it is brilliant! ❤

Musamam is so gorgeous 😍, but hard zo find in Europe and expensive. For me it’s a nighttime/evening perfume . Shiyaaka gold is great to and easy to wear. Shiyaaka white is also a great choice and more for the daytime.
@SiminShaikh RE: redoing the perfume closet >> I think the most useful & best way to categorise your perfumes, is either just by brand or by sort (gourmand, floral, woody) within brands. So, say you have a few gourmand fragrances, you put all of them together in the newly designated Gourmand Corner and then place brand with brand within that genre corner. Colour grading would soothe you only visually for a short while, because as soon as you are looking for a specific bottle to wear or use for a video you'll probably go cray-cray because it'll be impossible to find them in a reasonable time (and bottles taken out for a video will then also leave a much more visible - for us - "hole" if they're beside or above you normally.
I don't have such a gorgeous, large cupboard as you do, as my home is tiny. As a result, mine are split into warm/cold weather. Around May/June, all my cooler weather fragrances go back in their original boxes and in a dark closed closet. I'll then put the summery + yearround perfumes - that always remain, like my YSL Libre - on my bedroom dresser in 360° organisers, ranged from most popular to least worn, and lastly my decants & oils. (The dresser stands in a part of the room that will not get direct light, and when sunny, my bedroom curtains are closed. As I sleep for the majority of the day, that's a thing anyway).
Those 360's are incredibly helpful when you lack space, but it is hard to put the type of fragrances together because certain lengthy or very wide bottles won't fit where you need them. Hence, the division per organiser, though I have managed to create a bit of genre division as far as possible. And flankers stay together.
I àm considering to place shelves hanging over the dresser so I can place them all together in a season/genre/brand way. But as I'll then need a stepping stool or small ladder every single time I want to spray on one of my perfumes, that idea hasn't gotten much favour yet😅.
