    Ahh boo on the bust. But thank you for bringing me to my little Heaven place on Earth. We’ve never looked at the camping aspect of Red River we always stay at the lodge. But the atmosphere & peace & serenity just captures my soul every time. Something about that place just calls me there!

    Pretty much no overnight parking on the street or parking lots. Other than parking lots associated with lodging.
    The hotels/motels do keep an eye out for boondockers. You might get away with it so your mileage may vary!!!!
    The north side of the village has the majority of the RV parks. Forest service camp grounds are located on the road between Red River and Questa.

    Nice video, but there is a lot of free camping areas in Red River just need to know where they are. We go all the time and love it up there. But if you're looking for some boon docking spots your will have to go back in the woods a little off towards Cabresto Canyon. One of the spots if you ever go back through there is off Forest RD 134. Nice quiet little spot tucked back in the trees.

  • @EverydayLifeWithPhil
    @EverydayLifeWithPhil 11 месяцев назад

    Someone sent you up the wrong road, or you chose the wrong road. You should have driven up the road from Mallet Park. It roughly parallels the road you were on and that gets you into the National Forest where the pull off camping is located.
    You were completely in the wrong spot, where it was your fault or someone else’s. But there’s miles and miles of options on the Mallet road side.

    For gods sake, get a lifetime senior pass, most campgrounds are 10 bucks, and, it gets you into national monuments, ect. free.
